All creatures were sturring, especially a mouse. All were celebrating except for one house. For the new year was on it's way, but let's see why one was left a stray.

I was alone this new years eve because my father was away for work again, so here I was on my bed lying down and questioning what I should do.
I pull out my phone and decide to text someone.

Hey is your father gone as well

Yeah he left a couple of hours ago
Me
Same as well

Do you want to come over? My sister is making popcorn and we are going to watch movies.
Me
Um, sure. I'll be over there in a bit.

Do I wear my New years kimono

No we're just going to be hanging out at home this year

Okay see you
I turn off my phone and change into something simple. I put on a dark blue shirt with jeans and brush my hair. When I'm done I grab my phone, jacket, the spare key and leave the house.
Time skip to the Todoroki residence
I ring the doorbell and wait. No one answers the door so I ring again. No answers again. I take my phone to text Shouto.
Me
I'm here

Oh sorry be right there
I turn of my phone and wait a little bit.Then the door is opened to reveal Shouto and his older sister.
"Hello, it's a pleasure meeting you again." I said to Shouto's sister.
"The pleasure is all mine." She replied smiling and greeting me in.
I walk inside and immediately I can smell a faint smell of popcorn in the air.
"So what are we going to watch?" I asked.

Me and Shouto are laying on the floor with a bowl of popcorn in the middle of us. Shouto's sister is in the kitchen getting making holiday noodles for later.
"Hey, Shouto. Do you mind if I invite two more people over? Their families are gone for the holiday as well." I asked Shouto.
He looked a little confused but agreed.
Around 20 minuets later two boys arrived. It was Izu and Kat. Shouto was surprised to see them, but he said hi and went back to the movie on the screen.
"Hey, Fuyumi is in the kitchen making holiday noodles and we're watching movies." I said leading them into the living room where I see Shouto taking out the movie that already finished.
"What do you guys want to watch?" Asked Shouto who was going through a shelf of movies.
"Horror!"
"Action?"
"Comedy."
"How about a sci-fi?" Says Fuyumi as she walks in the living room.
"Fine."
"Uh, s-sure."
"Yeah!"
"Okay then." Says Shouto as he grabs a movie and puts it in the dvd player.
Me and Fuyumi sit on the couch in front of the TV and the boys are on the floor: Izuku laying on his stomach in the middle, Shouto on his right side to the right of Izu, and Kat is sitting cris- cross on the left of Izu.
As we watch the movie I can't help but smile. All of these wonderful people around me. This is my family. When the movie ends Fuyumi checks on the noodles and comes back to tell us the noodles are ready.
We walk into the dinning room to see a bowls of noodles, rice, and other stuff set out.
"Wow, Fuyumi! When did you have time make this?" I ask as I sit down at the table across from Shouto, Izuku, and Katsuki.
"Oh, some of it was already made the day before. Don't worry it was no trouble at all. Besides we enjoy the company during the holidays." Says Fuyumi as she gives me a closed eye smile.
I smile back and we all start eating.
"Wow, Ms. Fuyumi... this is really good." Said Izuku.
"Yeah, this is great." Says Katsuki as he takes another bite.
"Mmm, Fuyumi you have to teach me how to make this. It's really good." I say covering my mouth so I don't be rude.
"Okay, well the secrete is to make sure you watch it at all times. I was leave only because I have been making it every year since I was little." Fuyumi said as she ate her food as well.
The meal was good and soon the clock showed that there was only 30 minuets left until midnight.
"Guys its almost time. What do you want to do?" I ask as I help Fuyumi clean up.
"Well, we could get some of the fireworks I got the other day ready outside." Says Shouto as he gets a jacket on.
"Okay, Katsuki, can you help out Shouto, and Izu just make sure the fireworks don't go off before midnight." I say as me and Fuyumi are almost done cleaning up.
The boys go out to set up the fireworks and me and Fuyumi walk out after we finish. As soon as we walk out we see Izu and Shouto setting up the last firework and I see Katsuki chilling out, and look at the stars.
"Hey, you guys ready?" I say.
Everyone nods their head in approval. As the clock ticks we wait in anticipation.
We all chat for a bit, waiting for the clock to strike 12.
Then...
Boom
I set off the first firework, sending it into the sky and covering it with a beautiful flash of yellow.
Boom
Shouto sets off the next one. The color of red spreads out and then falls back down to the ground.
Boom Boom
The next one Katsuki sets off it explodes in the air, and it matches with the stars.
The rest of the night was amazing. We all started chasing each other while other people stated popping their own fireworks. Unexpectedly, Katsuki started chasing Izu with sparklers, so that ended quickly, but we still had fun.

I am super sorry on how long it took for me to upload this. I had gotten really sick over the holidays, which explains the late update on the New years chapter. Fortunately, I just got over it so uploads should be coming out better.
