A PERFECT STRANGER

CHAPTER 8

THE NEW YEAR
The day started out as any other day, but she seems to be more excited than she has ever been. Her happiness was radiating off. She wore a green color top with a small cat printed on it with casual jeggings.
Then she saw him coming wearing casual clothes too, he wore t-shirt and jeans and managed to look descent.
He asked her ''Where do you want to on this New Year?''
She was little nervous because she was new in the city, and didn't knew much so after discussing they went to a mall and sat peacefully in the food court.
He held her hand one more time and looked straight in her eyes and said 'tell me about yourself'
'But you already know enough'
'Yes sure I do but everyone has their own story so what's yours?' and their talk just got intense than ever.
She hesitated in starting a little but then she told her why she shifted to the new city, about her family, and about her past relationship.
'Well, this is enough for one day' she said at last with a smile and when she looked at him, caught him clicking her pictures.
Damn! He was such a kid and he loves to irritate her every time. After snatching the phone she asked 'what about you what is your story?'
He just smiled and told her about his family, friends and his previous relationship as well.
And they both came to know that in the case of their pasts, they really have been disappointed by their other halves.
They ordered pizza and continued with their talking.
And at the end of the day, they knew each other in better and it felt like they just moved a step ahead in their relationship and now trusted each other even more.
She got a text the moment she reached home 'reached?'
She replied with 'yes'.
And the day was going to end but it seems as the destiny had planned something else for her this New Year eve.
After 2 hours the screen flashed 'hey busy?'
'No' she replied
'Want to talk something important. Can I?'
She was thinking that he just told everything now what's left and she text out of her curiosity 'yes please'
He replied after 5 minutes by saying 'I want to say that that I was thinking that maybe I was attracted to you. I wasn't sure of my feeling. I thought all about you but couldn't understand it because I didn't want to hurt you by making any wrong decision but after clicking pictures and hearing about your past and you saying that you will try to change yourself and try not to be careless anymore just moved my heart. I can't ask for anything all I can say is, that I want to be with you and want to take this 'US' more seriously, in short I LOVE YOU, would you do the honor to become my princess?'
He was not really good at confessing things but this time he nailed it!
After reading this there was tears in her eyes. There was a roller coaster of emotions inside her, all she wanted was to hug him tightly.
Now she was sure of her feelings too that she also loved him because everything he does, makes her happy even when he irritates her but she didn't wanted to rush things up so all she could manage to write was ' ok'.
Fuck! Who does to a guy who just said he loved her and all she said was ok!
Suddenly Varsha calls, 'come here need some help', so she wrote 'little busy will talk later' and left this conversation unfinished and Ansh wondering what exactly was in her mind.
