Ring-ring-ring.

I am awoken by this sound at 7:00 sharp. Ring-ring-ring. There it is again. Darn you, you stupid alarm! I reach over to my night stand and hit the alarm clock with all my might silently hoping it breaks and leaves me alone.

Today is officially my first day as a junior in highschool. I guess you can say that I'm pretty excited. I never wake up early for anything. Even when I was little girl, I never woke up to open my christmas presents until atleast 10 o'clock. But today I felt happy. I want this year to be special. I want it to be a moment in my life where I can look back and think of my reckless high school life. So I am going to make new memories hopefully with new people.

I get out of my queen sized bed and say a quick prayer. I pull on my ducky slippers from the side of my bed and put it on. I skip my way to my bathroom and brush my teeth. Then, I go back in my room and grab my iPhone. I undress myself and go in the shower. Before I do this, I put a playlist of my current favorite songs.

I lather myself with my Bath and Body Works, body gel. I also make sure to shave my legs very well. I don't get out until I feel very clean. I grab a warm, soft towel from the rack and start to dry my body. I go back into my room and I spread lotion all over my body. Then, I generously apply deodarant to my underarms. I grab my new clothes from the top of my dresser. I bought them last week with my best friend, Olivia Dennis.

I pull on my light-washed, ripped, skin tight skinny jeans. Then I pair it with a black cami and a blue and red fitted flannel. I then put on my brand new all black Converse. I take a look at myself in my full sized mirror and I feel nice. I walk over to my vanity and start working on my makeup. I keep it very light. I use mascara, eyeliner, a bit of blush, and some tinted chapstick. I finish off my makeup and start my hair. Its a natural dirty blonde with light waves. I decide to keep it natural and run a brush through it. Before I leave my room, I shimmy through some vanilla scented fragrance mist.

I grab my pre-packed all black Jansport backpack and head downstairs. I already smell my moms cinnamon waffles and bacon from the top of the stairs. I rush my way down and smile when I see my mom still in her pajamas, working the frying pan.

"Morning, mom!" I chirp loud enough for her to hear.

"Hi, sweetie!" she chirps back. I drop my backpack in front of the door and go to the fridge. I grab a brown paper bag containing my lunch, and set it right next to my bookbag. I see my mom set three plates down at the table. Well that makes sense, since theres three people living in this house.

"Where's dad?" I ask her while I grab a bowl off the counter and start putting bacon in it. I set the bowl on the table and turn around to face my mom, waiting for a response.

"Right here," a voice from the side of me says. I jump up suddenly from surprise and face the direction the voice came from. I see my dad standing in front of me with his work clothes on.

"Dad you scared me!" I say as I playfully punch his arm.

"Sorry, kiddo you know I didn't mean to." he chuckles, just proving that he purposely scared me.

"So, John, where are you off to so early this morning? Your office doesnt open until 11." my mom suspiciously asks, while she gives him a weird look. My parents have been acting a little weird lately but I never question it.

"I thought I would get a head start today and I agreed to help a new co-worker, Victoria, around and give her a tour of her new office." he says. I see something flash in my moms eyes but she quickly recovers it. They stare at each other for only a few seconds but it seems like hours. It seems as if they are having a silent conversation with their eyes. My dad breaks eye contact first.
