Chapter 27
Brie's POV
At first it was all calm like Latty Datty daaaaaaaa go about your chores that the "El capitaino" (Tyler) gave you when like 20 minutes later like ran in yelling orders for take off.
Ya something bad was about to happen.
"Freeze!" Said a loud monotone voice.
Told you so.
"Stop what your doing and exit the vehicle. Don't being anything but yourselves, and don't try anything. You have no idea how big the fund we are holding are." Continued the voice.
So I was the first one to exit.
When I walked outside I almost laughed.
Almost.
And now that I look back on it, maybe holding it in was the right thing to do.
When I walked out all I saw were three men that wore everyday clothes and looked like average people. They were really nothing threatening at all didn't even have weapons.
It didn't occur to me that there was three men just standing out in the middle of nowhere. It wasn't all like hey Brie there big scary weapons and transport must be hiding somewhere.
So the rest of the group came out no doubtingly having the same thoughts as me.
Finally they spoke up "You are under arrest for betrayal and a lot of other things that would take too long to mention. You will be coming with us."
It wasn't a very intimidating thought at the time. That was until three huge warships materialized out of thin air and some crazy looking guns. And government agents uniforms replaced they're everyday clothes.
That's when my brain kicked into fighting mode. My father had taught Jean and I a long time ago knowing we would need it someday.
When the government agent grabbed my wrist I kicked his knee and spun around grabbing his wrist in stead of him holding on to mine. What happened after that was kind of a blur. All I remember is taking down one agent after another thinking this can't be possible and they seemed to be thinking the same thing.
Agents kept coming out of the ships and we kept fighting my friends seemed to be doing just fine. But realistically I don't know how much longer we could keep it together for. That's when the miracle happened. The last group of agents stepped out of the warships. They were obviously worried not knowing how a group of kids were beating a group of grown government agents but we were and I felt relieved when I saw the last group.
That was until I heard Jean shriek.
Kristy's POV
"Aghhhhghghhhhhh" I hear Jean yell. Oh no, this can't be good. I knock my last agent to his knees and kick him down as he hits his head against the floor pretty hard.
"Jean!" I cry. But I get no answer. So I look around. What I saw made me want to cry. Brie was getting put into cuffs and being dragged onto one of the warships. She looked horrible. She had a huge gash on her forehead and twin ones on her arms. She had huge bruises all over but worst of all she was knocked out.
Her captor looked about twice the size of the others which made me even more desperate.
Despite my pain my head went into battle mode. Which I had no idea I had. I ran after Jean and her captor with full speed.
He had strength but I had the element of surprise. I hit her captor with a kick to the side, which unfortunately did nothing but gain his attention. He dropped Jean pretty hard and turned to me.
We started fighting. Wy was I still alive you may ask? Well that was simple everybody has a weakeness. His was more noticeable then others. He was extremely slow.
He went for a hook to my head and I ducked under and swept his feet from under him he fell to the ground and I kicked his head and he went into a nice deep sleep.
"Good boy" I said. Then ran to Jean's side.
I picked her up bridal style and ran back to the fight scene that was, to my relief, no longer a fight scene.
We had done the impossible.
But barely.
