Farewells...

Lei's point of view :

It was around 12 am in the morning. You woke up the the sound of an alarm from a phone. You checked your phone and saw it wasn't yours. You searched for Colby's phone but couldn't find it.

"Colbs, wake up. Where the fuck is that sound coming from?"

He groaned and turned on his side. His phone was under his back. You quickly snatched it and turned the alarm off. The title read 'let Lei take her pills.' You raised your eyebrow and saw the bottle of pills on the drawer. You shrugged and got out of Colby's bed. You walked up to the dresser and popped a pill. A tingle shot through your throat but faded within a few seconds. You groaned and walked into the restroom using it. You washed your hands and dried then with a towel. You walked back into Colby's room and saw he took all the space. You didn't want to bother him so you slept on his couch.

*another three hours later*

You woke up from ANOTHER alarm. You looked at the time on your phone and it was 3 am. You popped another pill and made your way downstairs to the kitchen. You got Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal out, milk, a bowl and spoon, and Cheerios. You were oddly satisfied from the mixture of the two cereals so that's how you've eaten cereal. You poured the Cheerios then CTC and then poured the milk. You mixed it up a bit and let it soak into the milk. You scooped a lot with your spoon and shoved it in your mouth. The garage door opened and out came a tired Elton. He looked at you smiling.

"Ahh here we are again with the weird mixtures." He said as he grabbed a spoon and scooped himself some.

You nodded and swallowed the rest that was in your mouth.

"Always am. You should try French fried and frosty. It's sooo good."

"Ew I would never waste fried like that."

"You're not wasting it, fuck face. You're eating it with the frosty." You said as you scooped yourself another.

"Whatever. That tastes amazing though. I'm going to head to the gym wanna tag along?"

"Can't I'm pregnant."

"What?!"

"I'm... joking. Hehe, but I can't because I'm moving out today. So you know... busy busy busy."

"Oh alright. Have fun." He said before heading out the door and grabbing his keys along the way.

You sighed and thought about how the baby's life would be without a father. I mean Colby might be there but there's always other ways and reasons he'll leave me. And Jake might ... Jake IS going to be there for our child. No matter how much shit he goes through, no matter the girlfriends, no matter the hookups. I don't give two fucks about what he does. He better be there for our baby.

"Hey what're you doing up?"

You looked up and saw Aaron.

"Nothing much. I woke up to take my pill and I was hungry."

He nods and walks back upstairs. You finished your cereal and washed it. You grabbed Colby's keys and unlocked his car. You shoved the key into your pocket and pulled your suitcases and bags out. You managed to fit all the stuff from Target in the back seat and just shoved whatever couldn't fit into the trunk with your suitcases and bags. You sat in the passenger seat and sighed. You saw a piece of paper sticking out of the glove compartment. You opened it and a bunch of papers fell to your feet. You grabbed one and read it aloud to yourself in the empty car.

"My dearest adventure buddy,

           I've had a blast having to spent all of this time with you. But I just want to tell you that I made a mistake sleeping with you. It wasn't my intention to do that when the one person I loved was in the hospital. I'm sorry to say this but I'm not going to do any adventures with you anymore. For the sake of her and myself. If she found out already then I have very limited time before she tells someone else, or someone else tells her and they go against me. I'm sorry but this must be done. Have a good like buddy.
