Lei's point of view:

"You shouldn't have let her go anyways! She could've—"

"Colby, she literally put her in the hospital. Lei's barely even hurt!"

"Well she's becoming a mother of not one, but TWO. You want all that work to go to waste, Jake? So what if Tara's in the hospital, she was defending herself. Tara brought that upon herself."

You rolled your eyes, listening to them in the hallway. Jake stormed in the living room with an annoyed face.

"You have to apologize." He said, sternly.

You rolled your eyes again, keeping quiet while unpacking the numerous gifts you got for the gender reveal. He sighed, obviously upset at your attitude.

"Leiluna Elizabeth, you need to apologize to Tara."

You gritted your teeth, clenching your jaw tightly. You pushed the bags and boxes aside and stood up.

"Fine! Since I need to so badly. Whiny baby." You mocked him and walked out, him following behind.

He unlocked Colby's car, maybe gave it to him if you were going to apologize. You opened the backdoor and slid in, crossing your arms showing that you're not in the mood at the moment to talk or do anything at the moment. You pulled out your phone only to find that your pocket was empty, it probably fell out when you got up from the couch. Jake put the car into drive.

"Wait, I forgot my phone. Hold on." You said getting out and jogging to the door.

You grabbed your phone, heading to the door. You heard a voice coming from the kitchen, obviously you eavesdropped.

"You were nothing but a one night stand. No Shea, I'm not going to do it again. I have kids with her. Of course it's Jake's. Because I know how to stay protected. No you're not. Stop with the lying, Shea. You couldn't be because I didn't even— no I wasn't that drunk. Just let me— no you—"

The sound of the Corolla's horn went off, making you jump a bit. You jogged out of the house and into the passenger seat, sliding your seatbelt on.

"The hell were you doing?" He said as you put the car into reverse.

"Eavesdropping. No biggie."

He hummed and shook his head.

"What did you hear?"

"Colby on the phone with Shell or whatever her name is."

"What were they talking about?"

"She probably thinks she's pregnant."

He pressed on the break causing the both of you to lean forward a bit. He looked at you, eyebrows drawn together.

"And what if she is?"

You shrugged and went on your phone.

"If she is, then she is. That's Colby's responsibility."

An skin to skin noise sounded as the car continued to drive out of the gate. You rolled your eyes and scrolled through this Shea girls instagram. She's pretty, very pretty in fact. She wouldn't like a pretty little face like that to get all ugly all of a sudden, hmm? Hopefully her personality is better in person than what I hear, cause if it's not then I'm not going to hesitate putting someone else in the hospital. It seems you were almost there. Meaning you could this over with and sleep for the rest of the day because your feet were killing you. You looked up and saw the tall hospital building in front of you. Jake got out, you followed. He brought you to the front desk.

"Uhm, were here to see Tara, please."

The lady behind the desk nodded and pointed to a room in the hall to the left of us. Jake walked away. Rude.

"Thank you, ma'am." You offered a smile.

She smiled brightly back at you. You walked to the room and saw the beaten up woman lying in the hospital bed. You walked up. She looked towards you and looked back at Jake.

"Calm down, I'm not here to hurt you. This time," you mumbled, "but I came to apologize. Yes I know I did just mess around with Jake and just leave him but now that I see it, I really want these kids. You and him can do whatever your heart or body or whatever the fuck you want to do, but if you threaten me one more time I'll—"

"Lei!" Jake interrupted.

You scoffed and rolled your eyes.

"Just don't go threatening pregnant woman, they'll do anything to protect their children and unborn children. Especially me, Jake was really happy to hear that I was pregnant. I just want his happiness before mine. I may have left him but he really helped me a lot, and this is the only way to pay him back. I'm really sorry, Tara. Hopefully we can be girlfriends because I beat up people who hold grudges. But if not then that's fine. You have every reason to hate me, but just think about it. I'll leave my number written on— uhh... this paper! Incase you want it." You say grabbing a pen and writing down your number on a small paper.

You smiled softly at her and walked out.
