After Veronica dropped me off i went to the kitchen to grab a snack, noticing my parents absence. I went upstairs to my bedroom and fell asleep, thinking about Jughead for the first time today and forgetting my bag of chips...

(SATURDAY)

I woke up hearing my alarm and took a shower after that. I actually didn't do anything after taking the shower just laying in bed and watching some Netflix. Ofcourse thoughts of Jughead flashed trough my head a few times wondering if he will be at this 'party' if i can call it that. I don't even know if Jughead's dad went to Riverdale High. I only know he was a drunk, i even don't know if he still drinks, damn it i don't even know if Jughead is save! I feel my anxiety start kicking and right when my eyes start to water i hear a knock on my door.

"Betty? You have to be ready in a hour don't forget!" i hear my mom. i didn't even realised it's this late.

"yeah mom, i won't forget." i say hoping my vouce didn't break too much what surprising didn't happen. I get up from my bed and walk to my mirror, there is only one sentence that describes me right now and that is 'one BIG mess'. My hair is everywhere and i think my face had seen a ghost? The bags under my eyes even darker than normally and my lips cracked. I'm long not that confident girl i was the first days of school anymore. I look away from my reflection and put on the dress that has been hung up in my room. After that i put on some make up, slightly more than normal because of my bags and cracked lips. I look in the mirror now and see a whole different person, it's not the real me. That's clear but she looks better. Much. Better..

"Betty we're going!" my mom yells.

"coming!" i yell back.

I walk downstairs and see smiles on my parent's faces.

"You look beautiful Betty!" my mom squeals.

"thanks mom" i say and smile.

The drive went by quickly and my dad is parking the car now. I look out of the window and see Veronica and Archie walking towards the school. I'm so happy for them, they are soulmates and fit so well together. I walk out of the car and say bye to my parents because there are two different halls, one for parents, probably with 70s music or something and one for the childeren.

i walk inside and see Veronica standing by the punch probably waiting for me. "hey V" i say and she turns around. "Hi B!" she says and hugs me. I hug back.

"So.. you like it so far?" i ask her.

"Yeah it's nice. A little like homecoming or something" She chuckles and i chuckle back.

"I really can't wait for homecoming" V squeals.

"i know you can't" i chuckle.

I look around and see much familiar faces. Much people came even if it was supposed to be a 'old school party'.

I look around once more and my eyes met eyes that already were staring at me much longer than i could notice, the beautiful blue eyes i could never forget. When my eyes met his i see his face shock a little but a few second later a small smile was forming on his face. The smile i haven't seen in so long and i know made me so happy once. I couldn't help myself but smile back.  It felt like the distance between us was getting smaller and smaller and it actually was, 'cause i noticed he was walking towards me...
