Lauren ran her fingers through my hair scratching my scalp as I laid my head on her lap. My body was stretched out in the back seat, Camila was on the passenger side in the front along with Normani who was driving the car.
We've been in the car for 9 hours now. I don't know where we're going, and I didn't ask because I didn't want to know. I just wanted to get in a bed and forget about that happened.
Lauren hasn't left my side yet, she's been asking if I'm ok, how I'm feeling, how I'm holding up. And all I could say is I'm fine. But I don't know how I'm feeling, or how I'm holding up, Or if I'm ok. Yes I cried because I was hurt but after that I stopped feeling.

Yesterday I was happy, and that night I was in tears and heartbroken, and now I feel nothing. I feel like I'm just existing.
Existing in Lauren's life, I'm now existing in Lauren's reality.
"Alright we're finally here" I sat up looking out the window there was nothing there but road. Until I saw the welcome to California sign.
I laid back down Lauren looks down at me. "You ok?"
"Yeah....I'm ok" She looks at me as if she wants to say something but she decided to not say anything and lift her head up to look out the window. "Ok" she says for only me to head.
After about another 3 hours we made it to a house. That was right there on the beach. Lauren's famous beach house, the house where a lot of things happened.
I only been here once and it was when Lauren took me here to get away, it was our first vacation together in our first year being a couple.
We had sex- we made love for the first time in this house, it was an amazing week for us. I grew attached to her in this house, I fell in love with her everyday in this house. I remember being the one to tell her that I was in Love first. And I remember her smiling at me with love all in her eyes, the way she picked me up and placed me on that counter top and said the words.
'I love you too' was the best day of my life and I knew I was going to be with her forever.
We walked into the house I moved myself away from Lauren and walked up the stairs going into the room where first made love in. The bed was still in its place, along with the same covers.

I crawled into the bed after kicking my shoes off and crawling under the covers. Lauren walks into the room and opens the slide door before crawling in the bed next to me. It was silence at first the only thing heard was the waves outside and the seagulls.

"I'm ok" I quickly say because that's all she's been asking. She sighs "talk to me" I didn't say anything I only turned my back to her.
