I was in a car accident and have a brain injury because of it, so I'm doing this not only to let you all know but to also get you all to understand why I'm so inactive.
Well hi! My birthday has passed and I'm 21 now, Anthony and his parents took me out of state to celebrate so that was fun. My mom and almost stepdad split up, there's not much information I'm allowed to give there. I finally graduated. 😂 If you didn't know (which you probably didn't but s'okay!) I didn't get released from the hospital until the day of (or the day before) graduation. I was mentioned but I didn't get to graduate. I didn't have enough credits... I was 2.5 credits short. So, they gave me time to do it online from home. Let me tell you, that shit was hard. We made the agreement back in LATE 2017 (when I had JUST turned 19) that I could finish it before my 21st birthday June 10th, 2019 and still graduate. Then 2 weeks before I was completely done, they said "we made a mistake, the Texas law is 19". I cried like a little bitch because, they had me do that shit that I'll NEVER use again for 2 YEARS, then they tell me it was pretty much pointless and "they're really sorry". Nonetheless, my mom wasn't going to take that lying down. I worked too hard to have them just drop it all and say "they're really sorry". So, my mom called the T.E.A (Texas Education Agency) and everything got RE-sorted out. I finished on June 7th, 2019 and the school knows, I just have to go talk to them about if I want to have a "graduation celebration" or not. They said I could invite whoever I want too so, I might do that. The main reason I didn't just drop out like I wanted to since like, 7th grade, was because I wanted to prove everyone that said I was an idiot, wrong. The whole graduation celebration thing, I only want ONE SPECIFIC PERSON to hand me my diploma. She's helped me SO MUCH through all of this confusion and frustration. ALSO. LILIAN IS 3 MONTHS OLD NOW.
