Chapter Seven

Troy walked next to Orion, they walked out of the school hallway, out towards a garden area. The area was being lit up by tiny lanterns, placed around the garden. It was one of the most nicest gardens Troy has seen, he doesn't even remember if the Isle even had one.

"So, why did you bring me out here?"

"I thought it would be nicer to be outside than stuck inside" Orion smiled "I wanted to show you something pretty, I don't think you've seen this area yet"

"Well this is only my second day on the mainland" he chuckled "it's really nice out here"

"Yea, lets go find a place to sit down and we can talk there" the Prince cooled, he lead him to a bunch located under a string of lanterns "so, where do we start?"

"You seem to be acting really nice to me, shouldn't you be afraid of me?" Troy wondered "I'm the son of the man who could have murdered your family, If that doesn't raise big alarms I don't know what else-"

"Troy" Orion interrupted him "I already told you, I don't think you're like your father, I don't think the others are like their parents either, you have your own destinies"

"You really think so?"

"Of course, and which that, I want you to tell me everything you know about the isle, no one tells me a thing about it, sorry if I'm being too straight  forward, but, I thought you could help me" he cooled "With the information you give me I could help the isle"

"You don't need to help the isle, the isle is a prison for a reason, it's suppose to keep the bad people out of the mainland to rot away on a small island, take it from me, a person who has live there all my life, some people there don't need help"  he explained

"Then tell me how life was there for you, as royalty you and the others has it alright, right?" Orion questioned

"You really think that Orion?" He raised an eyebrow "and for your knowledge,  only my dad and myself are royalty on the isle, that's how he made it, the others are more like knights, training to be strong wizards like are parents. you could say we had it better than others here, but a lot of the time it's the same"

"How so?"

"We still have to fight with the other people to get supplies, every Thursday a boat from the isle drops off old trash and goodies no one needs anymore, a lot of people collect things to resell to people, others fight over what they want. Having magic does have the upper hand, also the fact how people fear your parents is also a plus" he winked,

Troy thought back to the latest trash drop. Everyone was surrounding the drop off zone, men who came to find supplies for their families and people picking up items to later sell. He remembers waiting behind a rock with Jake and Emma, Gia was stuck with her mother training. All of them waiting till the boat loaded off the trash and left before going in. Those times were always hectic, people yelling and screaming taking what they can. Some people waited till after the crowds have gone to pick up what was left. Troy spotted a golden necklace in the mess, he swiftly picks it up and hides it in his pocket, he doesn't remember what he did with the necklace but it's somewhere around his and Jakes room back in the isle.

"I'm sure there is other things the others can tell you about, Emma works a lot with the younger children on the isle, she could tell you all about how lift is on the isle for them" Troy informed

"Troy, I'm mostly interested in you, I want to get to know you as a person as well, I want to be your friend, it's so nice to have someone I can relate too, being around the same age and both being Prince's"

"Please, don't refer to me as a Prince, my dad has no royal status here, look I'll love to be your friend but I'm worried"

"Worried?" He asked "about what, fitting in, or maybe what other people think of you?"

"Orion, even if we wanted to be friends, your parents have a strict no touchy rule, and I have a feeling that also applies to hanging out too, and let's not get started of how Melia acted cold towards us" he said to him

"You're over thinking this Troy, rules were meant to be broken, hang out with me tomorrow at lunch break, let me introduce you to my friends, it'll be fun" Orion suggested "trust me"

"What about my friends?"

"I'm sure they'll be fine"

"Alright, deal, I'll hang out with you tomorrow" Troy agreed, he didn't know what his friends would think when he tells them that. "Is there anything else that you wanted to know?"

"There's heaps!" Orion's eyes lit up "I'll save the questions for another day, at the moment, I just want to get to know you"

"I should ask you that same thing" he chuckled "tell me everything about you"

Orion and Troy spend the rest of the evening talking, a women's voice spoke over the speaker letting everyone know to be back at their dorms before 9pm, Orion smiled and stood up

"I should let you get back to your dorm, this was fun, we should do this more" he cooled

"Agreed" Troy smiled "so see you tomorrow?"

"Yep! See you then"

"You too"

Troy walked silently back to his dorm room, he was surprised to see Jake sitting on his bed dressed in the night wear the school gifted him, he had a look on his face that Troy knew oh so well "alright, what are you up too"

"Well" Jake smirked "I think I have come up with a plan to take over the mainland, which involves you"

"Oh god what's the plan?"

"So" he started "Gia and I were noticing how Orion has a liking towards you, the only person out of the four of us he wants to really get to know, is you, which is actually helpful since it'll get him off our back and we can do our plotting in peace"

"And the plan is?"

"You just wanna get to the point, alright fine, that plan is, why don't you try to get Orion to fall in love with you?"

"I'm sorry what?" Troy paused "your big plan is to try to hook me up with Orion? How is that a plan Jake!"

"Dude you're missing the big picture, if he falls for you, you'll have him wrapped around your finger, anything you want he'll give you, and there is a plus too, he is also next in line to the throne, if you marry him, and once he becomes king, you'll have the power to take over from the inside, then after that you can open up the force field around the isle and ding ding ding the world is ours again" Jake explained "of course it might take a while, unless the King mysteriously dies of a sickness, or even poisoned"

"This plans sounds hard, how do I even get Orion to fall in love with me, how do I even know he's into guys?! if he's Royal his parents are probably wanting him to marry a women so they can have children" he exclaimed.

"Orion has a married older brother apparently" Jake confirmed "Troy, you're hot, I'm sure you'll make him attracted to guys if he is straight"

"That isn't how it works Jake, take it from me as a bisexual"

"It's worth a try"

Troy stared at him "let me think about it, I'm going to have a shower"

"You do go to that" Jake said, "this plan is going to be great"
