Chapter 1.

Marcus's POV-

"Dammit Alley! Your 16! You look like a crack dealer didn't get his money so he took it out on you." I growled as i covered her bruises with her makeup.

"I'm sorry Marcus. He just... You only get one mate. And he maybe human, but I only get one." She sobbed.

I looked down at my sister and sighed. I pulled her into my lap and rocked her.

"I know Alley kat, but the moongodes does many things. This is not who she wanted you to be with. I know it. I can feel it Alley. Please" I whispered my voice breaking.

"Just help me cover this so papa and dad don't see it." She whispered

She stood up and sat back in the chair. She held my gaze for a few seconds before looking back at the mirror. I sighed and covered her last bruise. She hugged me tightly and walked form her room. I flopped back on her bed and sighed. On her nightstand was a picture of us with papa and dad when we first got here. It was like ages ago.

I sighed, standing from the bed and walked down stairs.

Its not like I hate my little sister having a mate. I just hate the fact that he abuses her. Cheats on her! She doesn't deserve that! I am jealous though. I'm 18 and suppose to be alpha, but I haven't met her. Or maybe its a him. Papa said that we wouldn't know. He told me that even if it was a guy, it doesn't change a thing with the pack.

'Marcus! rogues!' Dad yelled int he mind link.

"shit." I mumbled

i took off outside only to see papa, dad and alley running into the woods. I shifted, my dark black fur shacking out as the wind blew. I was pitch black with a white chest. Dad says there isn't many of my color in the world.

I caught up to papa and ran ahead. I sped up, following the scents that led to the middle of the territory. We ran to the edge of the clift. I was knocked off my paws with the most amazing scent ever.

'....Mate...'
