5. Arrival and Exploration Part 2

Finally Dhevan arrrived here, said Kiara on her mind. 30 minutes she's been waiting for him, and her other friends but only Dhevan who just comes earlier.

Badhump, badhump. her heart thumps like it won't never stop. She's trying to stop her own panickedness and over embarassment though no matter she tried, they won't stop. The distance between her and him that is literally really close only making her two conditions worsen, like literally second by second.

Since Kiara's such an awkward person, also a shy and hesitant person, she didn't dare to ask any question to him. But, to break the never ending silence, she finally spoke her words up to him.

"D-dhevan? You know where are the others?" She asked, through a barely heard voice, whilst quivering

"I'm sorry? What did you ask Kiara?" He replied, despite her most inaudible sound, he could still listen to her voice

"Do you know where are the others? You know like, Ratri, Adri, Tami, Sekar, and the others?" She questioned again with a louder voice

"Gosh, I thought you ask something's hard, guess it's not lol. I just messaged Adri and Ratri tho, they said few minutes that they're about to arrive soon. Somewhere near the airport, forget about the area though" He replied based on the information he obtained

Kiara hummed. Ah, seriously. What took them so long

After the said people finally arrived, the awkwardness between the two of this unlikely and unofficial couple turned down. One of the quarters, who is Adri, cooed really loud on them, saying that they look really good on each other

"A-aw, you two really look adorable like daang!" He said really loud, to the point half of the crowd around them glancing a fierce look on them

Kiara's face turned like a boiled crab. Dhevan only shrugged, but no one knows that deep down inside, he's quivering like hell. And he himself would never expect that he'd be trembling just listening to some cheesy say-out. The others only look like they want to hold some laugh, trying so hard not to release their giggles, afraid that it'll worsen the tease effects already.

Ratri, who's one of the other quarter, heaped a breath, then finally decided to speak up.

"Okay, cut the damned crap out, Adri. There are 20 minutes left before we finally take the damn flight. Better get ourselves movin' already" She said loudly, somehow making a nerve and tense on the CALC Club members

"She's right, dude. Wanna get left already by the plane we've booked since like centuries ago? So yeah let's better go now!" Tami exclaimed, agreeing what her best friend said.

And so, all of them nodding their heads in agreement, and while on their own trip to the plane, they didn't speak anything. Only a scent of seriousness sparked from each of them.

And finally, they went all together to the plane. Somehow, when Kiara began taking a seat in the middle of the plane, she got it beside Dhevan. Fortune Goddess did grant her silent wish afterall.

When she took the seat beside him, he just looked outside the plane window, putting his hand on his chin while his eyes gazing in a deep outlook.

What does he think? I wonder anyway, she said to herself

Their club indeed was facing a lot of crisis and somehow endless struggles, a lot of gatherings that didn't bring any clear and right conclusion, and Dhevan's majorly taking the most blames of the false mistakes they made all this time. Kiara sometimes felt sorry for what he's been doing for the whole team, but hating herself because she sometimes couldn't do anything to help him.

So, with Dhevan's deep thinking, Kiara's worriness on his condition, and the other members' pure silence, the plane finally flew, and they departed with complicated nuance and situation.
