Stand tall,and be counted, one by one
All and each one of you
throughout every age, and time.
Raise your voice for this one united
Called, “Return Them to their Home
the Marbles of the Parthenon."
For it isn’t just you in front for all to see
Marching tall as the face and voice
Of this united call, “Return Them, the Marbles,
to where they belong, back home close to the Parthenon.”
But remember, many other voices join you
From behind, on each side of you and all those
Crouching down, underneath, working on plans.
Helping you each step of the way
day by day, working for the common goal.
One that will, break down the resistance
of "the Return, of Athena’s Gifts of ancient times".
Holding you up to keep your strength
Even if you no longer walking within
living memory they work hard for this,
For the a common goal, the one thing
That unites all in one voice.
Regardless of boundaries drawn.
We all work for the happy day
That Athena’s gifts be returned
To the Acropolis and the Aegean light
To shine its magic on these old ancient
Stones for the whole world to see
Forever to be where they belong
On the Acropolis and close to the Parthenon.
