This week just gone has been one of talk over many thousand kilometres.

A to and fro of thoughts to end in a strong united roar, like lions we stand now

at your door, asking again for the return of Sculptural Treasures of old.

Renewed and stronger than before our request vibrates your glass panes

and echoes in the dark halls of artificial lights, rebounds from your high ceilings

to your floors, asking again for the Return of Sculptural Treasures of old.

Be reassured this roar from the world will continue until you back down

from your sole right to claim these gifts of Athena, that goddess of Ancient times

stands by our side, asking again for the Return of Sculptural Treasures of old.

Mother England, you said for Greece to build a museum for the Return

They have, it waits, for the day to dawn for the gifts of Athena's to come back home,

Be reassured,  that day will dawn ,and Greece will welcome home those Sculptural Treasures of old.

And by her side will stand a multitude of souls from around the world

welcoming home those ancient Treasures of Sculptural Artworks

Those now alive and those who have died will be there waiting to see them home.

Just imagine how Grand it would be for Art and Archaeology

for our collective western thought and identity, For history, our collective story

For the fact that you finally too can enjoy those ancient gifts united.

Imagine the roar of gratitude for the 88% of your own people

Of this grand gesture; and the gratitude of the world of Greeks

The Philhellenes, and those who now still roar at your door.

Return Them, Return Them.  Return Them, Back to the Acropolis!

For the roar will not abate but grow stronger by the minute , by the hour by the day

Endlessly chanting rattling the windows and your doors until you relent and give back.

What belongs to the Parthenon and the Acropolis.
