"So, by my guesses it's supposed to be right.... here"
I stepped onto an open field.
The sun shone at its full potential now that there was no shade from the trees blocking its persistent rays.
The river was heard flowing a couple minutes away from here.
I've lead them to their people.
A huge, ginormous station, was laid out on the field. It's shiny metal reflected the light back and blinded the eyes. Its size was impressive, it was enough to contain all the thousand people I've seen roaming the earth. It looked like it came from space, basically.
The people walking around it were wearing the same black outfit that Valerian had on. They had some kind of machines in their hands, long and metal.
I noticed how one of them saw me.
He instantly clutched his machine and raised the long end of it at me.
I didn't know at that time that the machine was called a shotgun, and what it was used for.
Febba emerged out of the trees.
But it was too late for him to stop. He pressed the trigger.
The gunshot reached my ears. It was a violence to the still of the April morning - a noise that heralded death and destruction. It broke the air in stark contrast to the voice of the birds that rang out in this dawn and the oblivious nature that surrounded me as I felt a sharp pain hit my left leg.
"Night!" Febba ran towards me, tears were threatening to spill from her eyes.
The man in black who shot me finally noticed the others come from the woods behind me. Realizing the wrong he had done, he ran to call someone from inside the station.
Aden and Valerian ran up to me.
"I'll kill that fucking bastard!" Aden's eyes lit up with boiling anger.
I lay on my hands and elbows as blood pools onto the ground and soaks my pants. I sigh. If only death wasn't so afraid of me. A deep wound is made in the flesh of my left leg. It's heavily oozing out blood and there's a bluish-purple bruise forming around it. I lightly press my index finger against the center of the wound and suck in a sharp breath as the pain spirals all across my body. Colorful spots contour the sides of my eyes. I took a deep breath in. Do like the Ginchi taught you.
They taught me how to handle pain.
"Oh god oh god, you're bleeding a lot, it's okay, the doctor is coming, it's just a shot wound, you'll be fine" Febba looked more worried than I was. Her hands were slightly shaking as she held my head up.
Geez, it's just a wound.
I began standing up.
"Are you crazy what the hell are you doing!" Aden worriedly tried to put me down again.
"It's just a wound, I'm not dying.. yet," I attempted to stand up again. The pain shot like daggers through my leg. 'Convince yourself it is just a slight scratch, your brain is easy to trick, it is just about controlling thoughts.'
I stood up.
A pair of arms tightly wrapped around me. Valerian had an annoyed look on his face.
"Stop acting so brave and wait for the help would you"
What is this help they are all talking about.
A woman in white suddenly appeared from the metal doors. She hurriedly told some other people in white to hurry up.
