"Good, then you're going to forgive me for what I'm about to do" I mumble to myself, before plastering on a brave face.

"Before we go, I've to pee," I said, my voice dragging out the 'e' as I placed my hand between my upper thighs, squatting down in pain.

"Quickly baby, go into the evergreen trees, nobody will see you there," Hunters voice said, understanding my struggle of a small bladder. Trotting out of the half-fallen door of the Magic Mirror Maze, Evelyn sprung out from the side. An evil grin, slowly making the way to the surface. Turning back to face Hunter, I gasped, knowing we were screwed. 'Maybe another round of hide and seek wouldn't kill anyone. Maybe I could escape then, as I would be the one looking for them. Not the other way around.' I tried to assure myself as we began to walk towards the forest half.

"The aim of the game is not to be found dummy" Evelyns voice teased. "I know, my bladder couldn't hold it in." I tried to reason with her. "I will count once I'm done," I said making my way to the darkened parts of the park. The patch of long grass I had been standing in, wrapping its blades around my ankles, begging me not to go.

Kicking the scorched earth and stones beneath my shoes, Evelyn was standing at least two meters beside me. No words, but the sound of her acrylic nails tapping the screen in frustration. Rubbing my eye from the dried dust that bounced back from the ground, I tried to make small talk with Evelyn.

"It was sweet of you to give Ivy a car for her birthday" my husky voice broke the silence, the words sounding unsure and more like a question rather than a statement. Tilting her head, her phone still raised to her chest, eyes narrowing. "Yeah, see I'm a nice sister." she spat back. Folding my arms across my chest, I raised my eyebrow out of disagreement. "Where did you guys park it? I didn't see it in the original place when we got here?". Not acknowledging I asked her a question, she started talking in a different language. French to be exact. When she was finished, she turned to me. "Ivy is taking foreverrr" her voice whined on. "Maybe she tripped over a dead body". Darting a death glare at Evelyn I spat back "Not helping the situation".

Checking my phone, I send Ivy a quick message, wondering if she was ok.

Hunter: you Okay? Xx ........ sent @10: 01 pm

Ivy: (typing)...

Releasing the breath I had been holding in unknown to myself, I sighed with relief that she was ok. Staring at typing symbol pop up every now and then, a frustrated frown began to make its way upon my forehead, until I had wrinkles. "Come on Ivy" I whispered under my breath while shaking the phone in my hand.

Just as my finger was hovering over the 'call' button, my heart dropped into my grave.

I refused to believe what had just happened.

A shrilling scream from deep within the blackened forest was unleashed. Like a demon being released from within one's deepest and darkest soul. So ear-shattering that my ears would have bled if it continued for any longer. My eyes twitching as my ears rang out.
