Tom's P.O.V

It's been about a week and a half since we got back to base. Yesterday was Damian's funeral, everyone came, the rebellion and army all came together with no hesitation. Since the mission they've been more trusting of eachother and finally joined as one.
Tommy and I were able to separate, but I was sorta different after. My teeth were sharp as a knife, I cut my finger just touching them. And I had a tail, yup, a freakin tail. It was thin and I usually just wrapped the thing around my chest so it wasn't visible but it was still weird. And Tommy had more abilities now, bullet proof obviously, but all his other skills were ten times better. He was faster, more flexible, his senses were off the charts. His wings need about a month to heal. His healing was also faster, but his injuries were pretty bad, in time he'd get better.
Throughout it all Sasha and Tommy haven't split up once, she refuses to leave his side. Tommy just got moved back to his room, Pat made two bunks for them in there. Sasha had a broken arm but other then that she was okay. Paul and Patryck were healed up now, Patryck always made fun of Paul because now he looked so much more like Tord. He was wearing an I patch to cover his wound.
Delilah pledged herself to honor her brother who wouldn't want her moping around over his death. Delilah was already working again even though Edd and Matt tried to convince her to take more time.
Edd and Matt only had minor injuries but they were better now. Tord was in a coma and I was sitting next to his bed, his vitals were steady but anything can happen.

"Tom? You in here?" Delilah peeks her head through the door. I look at her, when we got back I was luckily able to reconnect my googles.

"Yeah, what's up?"

"You already know." She walks in and brings a bag with her. "Have you been practicing?" She questions.

"Sure." I mumbled.

"Tom, I know it's hard physically and mentally but you need to start getting in the habit of practicing. I know it hurts but you need to train your body to do it again. Now come on."

"What? Why?"

"Cus' I can't trust you to do it so I'm gonna make sure you do it." She snapped. I sighed as she pushed me down the hall, the wheels on my chair creaked. I hated being in this thing just as much as she did, it made me feel weak and useless.
As soon as we got back I was on the sugary tabel. I had major spinal damage, even when I went I had a broken leg and I knew the risks, when I transformed it ripped apart muscle and tissue in my leg. So even if my legs were fine it'd still be really hard to walk, but I also have major leg damage to add to that. Even with my monster healing, the process could take years, that tells you how bad it is. And Delilah wants me to practice walking every day, you can't even imagine how hard and painful it is! Of course I don't want to be stuck in a wheelchair my whole life but it's just too hard! "Okay, I'll help you over there, just take your time Tom, nice and easy.

She helped me to the middle of two bars. Bars that would help stabilize me in case I fell, it was a rehab room. I don't want to be here! I shakily stood in the middle, I took in a deep breath and put one foot in front of the other. I clenched my fist as a pain shot up and down my back. "D-Damit . . ." I heaved.

"Tom? Are you alright?" She approached me. I winced a groaned, my legs started to give out. I yelled in frustration and pain, I fell down in a heap. My head hit the bar. "Tom!" She kneeled next to me, "Can you sit up for me?"

I pushed myself up and sat on my butt. I couldn't control my legs, they weren't cooperating, they never would. I felt somthing cold slide down my forehead. I touched it with my finger then looked at it, blood. I must've hit my head pretty damn hard to do that. "Great . . ." I sighed.
