20|Ghost of the past

*Flashback 2018*
"Rivi shut the fuck up and stop laughing before they hear us. I should of left your ass home." Corey spat between clenched teeth.

When they all made it over the gate Rivi had fallen on top of Corey and she was high. Everything was blurry and extremely funny to her. Her dad told her she was nothing but a disappointment and he was disgusted with the site of her, earlier that day. Rivi begged Corey to let her smoke a laced blunt and she also popped a bean on top of drinking liquor.

Corey came up with this idea to break into this rich mans house, who he had heard about from his friend Vince. Vince use to work for the guy and knew the mans wife would be home alone on Thursday night. Her husband would be at a basketball game with his son and friends. The plan was to just tie the wife up and take everything they could, but the wife's blindfold fell off and she saw Corey.

He slammed the butt of the gun into the woman's mouth knocking her teeth out. Rivi screamed at him to stop, but he pushed her down. The woman looked right into Rivi eyes as to say "Help me please." Corey grabbed the lady's hair, dragging her into another bedroom then slamming the door behind him. Rivi tried to find her balance as she heard him continuing to slam the gun into the woman's face. Her screams were inhuman, they were bone chilling. Then Rivi heard nothing as she finally made it to the door.

Corey came out wiping the blood from the gun on his shirt and some was on his face. He stood in front of Rivi and closed the door behind him. "What did you do to her?" Rivi asked him.

"She's unconscious, so she shouldn't even be able to recognize us when she comes to." He smiled. Rivi started slapping and punching him.

"We can't leave her, she might die, we weren't suppose to hurt anyone!" She screamed he then took his gun and knocked her out.

When she woke up he was on top of her being extremely rough, she was in excruciating pain. How long had he been on top of her? Did he penetrate her when she was unconscious? She heard laughter and glanced over to see a bright light and Vince holding his phone up recording. Rivi tried to push Corey off her, but he held her down, pushing himself deeper into her, and she clawed at his face and neck. He slapped her hard.

"Corey stop, please get off me! You're hurting me... please stop...please!"

"You will learn to do what I say." He held his hand over her mouth as tears ran down into her ears. She finally just laid their limp and let him finish. She wished she was still high so she couldn't feel a thing. When he had finally stopped he threw her a wash cloth that he had used to wipe himself off.

"Oh me and Vince are taking the whole 50k but for being a good sport, here's a hundred." He threw the money at her face, then walked off dapping Vince up. Rivi turned on her side and cried. Her dad was right.

Present day
Rivi
Can we stop at this gas station? I need to grab me some gum." She asked, Landon sighed.

"Rivi come on, we're already late." He checked his watch. Rivi looked at him with her lips poked out.

"Okay but in and out." He pulled into the gas station.

Rivi walked down the aisles until she found the gum. Someone grabbed a pack of experiment gum as she was reaching for it. That's when she recognized the snake tattoo on his wrist and her body froze.

"Your favorite gum." She closed her eyes as she turned his way, hoping it was all in her head.

"It's me baby, I'm really here. "She heard his deep voice and slowly opened her eyes. He was smiling, showing his gold teeth at the top. His long beard was neatly trimmed, his beady eyes appeared evil, even when he smiled.
