Third Person POV:
As they enter, they look around, the house is filled with ivy, cobwebs and old broken furniture.
"I can't believe I pulled the short straw. You guys are lucky we're not measuring dicks." Richie comments.
"I'm sure you'd lose either way." Adeline sasses while looking at the room on the right.
"Fuck off, Farley." He replies, she smiles at him.
"I can smell that." Eddie comments.
"Don't breathe through your mouth." Richie recommends.
"How come?" Eddie asks.
"Because then you're eating it." Richie replies. Eddie then gags and brings out his inhaler.
"That is so not how it works Richard." Adeline replies. She turns to Eddie. "I would recommend keep breathing through your nose. Because smell is the weakest sense, it will adjust quicker than the others. That means that you'll get used to the smell and not notice it."
"Okay." Eddie tells the girl. Richie looks around and notices something hanging in the branches. He goes towards it and takes a piece of paper down. He looks at it in fear.
"What?" Bill asks. While the three approach.
"It says I'm missing." Richie tells the group, holding a missing persons poster in his hands.
"Y-y-y-your not missing, Richie." Bill tells the boy.
"Police department city of Derry. That's my shirt. Its my hair. Its my face." Richie freaks out.
"Calm down, this isn't real." Bill yells at Richie.
"That's my name. My age. That's today's date." Richie freaks out. Adeline goes forwards and takes the poster from his hand and takes Richie's shoulders. "What the fuck? We're gonna go missing! What the fuck?"
"Calm down. Look at me Richie." She put her hands to his cheeks to make him look into her eyes. "That is not real. IT's playing with you. You need to calm down and focus. You are not missing. You are standing right here in front of us. Okay? Now I need you to breathe." Adeline says to him. Richie slowly calming down as he looks at her and the poster, having now been removed. He nods slowly.
"Hello?" A voice says from upstairs, a female voice. "Hello?" The group then walk to the bottom of the stairs. "Help me please." The group walk up the stairs and hear someone gasping for breath. As they round the corner at the top of the stairs they see a girl lying on the floor in an open room.
"Betty?" Bill asks.
"Ripsom?" Richie asks. The girl looks to them, but is dragged back out of view by something. She screams. Bill and Richie start to walk forwards towards where the girl was last seen. But Eddie and Adeline don't follow having heard something themselves.
