Part 6

The Next Morning

"Draco honey. You have to get up. It's almost time to leave," Narcissa said lightly shaking Draco awake.

Harry jumped at the sudden movement. When he made eye contact with Narcissa he noticed a bruise on her cheek. Apparently Draco noticed it too.

"Mum..." he started.

"Shhh. It's okay sweetheart. Just get ready so we can go. And make sure Sage has everything he needs," Narcissa said trying to calm Draco.

"Okay Mum," Draco said not having it but clearly in no mood to fight.

"Do you mind if I take Sage downstairs with me?" Narcissa asked.

"No of course you can take him. I'll be right down and then we can leave," Draco said as his mother left the room.

Narcissa carried Harry down the stairs and into the dining room where Lucius was sitting and sipping tea. Narcissa sat down next to Lucius with Harry on her lap.

"You shouldn't have that thing in the dining room," Lucius said in disgust.

Harry hissed at him.

"It's feral."

"He's sweet. Plus he'll be leaving soon. So you only have to endure it a little longer," Narcissa said petting Harry.

Lucius scoffed.

Before he had the chance to say anything back, Draco came down the stairs, with already shrunken bags. He look so proper and sullen. Definitely not the Draco that Harry has seen in the past day.

"You ready to go dear?" Narcissa asked.

"Yes Mum," Draco said not making eye contact with his father.

He started making his way to the exit when his father spoke up.

"Draco."

"Yes father," Draco said turning around with no emotion on his face.

"Aren't you going to give your father a hug?" he questioned making it sound more like a demand.

Draco looked nauseated as he went over to his father and embraced him.

His father pulled him in bone crushingly tight and whispered something that Harry couldn't hear.

"Come now Draco we are going to be late," Narcissa said.

Draco shakily stepped away from his father and rushed out the door, Harry right behind him. They left making their way to the station.
