I started walking towards the town on the light brown path, passing multiple trees and farms along the way. I reached the gates of the city my walking paced to a halt.
"Oi, who are ya?" The guard roared from above the castle
"Im just a traveler, I mean no harm" I replied. A couple of seconds later the drawbridge slowly came down and I crossed the bridge into the city. Since the first shop was a satchel bag stall I decided to buy myself one. After a minute of waiting the stall owner gave me his last bag claiming "it's magical". I decided to explore around the city. After a while of searching I found a couple of men harassing an innocent girl.
"Hey! Stop harassing her, she did nothing to you" I yelled at them. They turned to me and snickered and charged at me. I wispered the words to cast fire circle to myself and a circle of fire appeared around me and injured them.
"Lets go boy's, this guys not worth the trouble" the leader ordered to his men, they snickered again at me as they hastily retreated. I walked up to the girl and extended my hand towards her
"Hey it's okay, they can't hurt you now" I smiled to her.
"Thank you.... uhhh" her voice trailed off
"I'm Thomas, I'm a traveler" I replied to her. She took my hand and I pulled her up and escorted her home. I decided to check my phone for the time and it was 7:30 pm.
"Well I'm going home" I told myself as I casted the teleportation spell and warped back to the tunnel to the city. I walked back and found the same ladder I climbed down to get here. I grabbed the metal and climbed up to the manhole and climbed out. Looking around, the city had become a beacon of light with fireworks, lights and car lights.
"Well I need to get home" I told myself as I used the teleportation spell and warped near home. I began to walk to my home and went through the gate and through the front door to see my mum standing there with her hands on her hips. She looked at me with anger and concern
"Where. Have. You. Been! I looked all over for you" she yelled at me.
"I called and told you that I would stay at a friends house for a bit to study" I replied. She checked her phone and she had a text message from me saying what I had said before.
"Sorry" she apologized. I gave her a hug and went to my room. I had two little brothers, one of them is annoying and the other one is trying to look smart but really isn't. I walked into my room and closed the door and cracked open the book and read spells for things such as vodo dolls. I made a blank one and the book said all I need is a drop of my targets blood.
"I have an idea and it involves Mich" I told myself. I dialed his number up and put my head phones in.
