After dinner, I got out my computer and set my gaming station up
"You play games too?" She walked over and sat next to me
"Uh... yeah why?" I replied
"I play games too" she smiled at me and logged onto her computer
"Huh what are the odds" I logged onto my computer and loaded up my favorite game. After a while of gaming I got out my sleeping bag and hopped in it
"Hey Tom you know you can sleep with me" she leaned over to look at me
"Nah it's fine" I replied and fell asleep.
The rest of the days went past normally as I went out to her farm and harvested the carrots and other plants she had planted. I walked back into her house on Friday to see her in a cloak
"So what are we doing tonight?" I asked her
"There's a tavern that I like and I want you to come with me" she replied
"Sure"
"You really mean it?"
"Yeah, I'd like to see the taverns in this world" she giggled with excitement and grabbed my hand and started running towards the city. We walked through the gate to see candles wavering around and taverns open
"We're going this way" she pointed towards one of the inn's, we jogged towards it and Cara knocked on the door
"Password?" Cara leaned closer
"Magic is the life" she leaned back and the door swung open to reveal people of all ages, having dinner. Cara instructed me to put my cloak on the hanger and followed her to a seat.
"So this is your favorite tavern?" I asked her
"Yes it is" she replied, a waiter came up and gave us a menu
"This is like the places in my world" I opened up the menu and chose the chicken and Cara chose the beef, he asked us for our drink preferences
"I'll have uhh... soft drink" I closed the menu and handed it to the waiter
"Soft drink as well also a jug of grape wine" she smiled at me and handed it to the waiter, the waitor walked off.
"Hey why did you order wine?" I asked her
"You'll see" she smiled. After a couple of minutes waiting our food arrived, I took my plate and started eating the food. I took a drink of the soft drink from the tankard, it was just like the drinks back home.
"Want to try something?" Cara asked me, I slowly put my tankard down
"Suure" I slowed down the s, she poured the purple wine into my tankard and her's
"Bottoms up" she tipped the tankard down her throat, I did the same, the wine tasted amazing like that one drink you absolutely love. I downed the hole wine and put the tankard on the table. She refilled both and again, downed them.
"Uhhh my head" I held my hand to my head
"You downed more than me" she chuckled to me
"Waitor, we'd like a take home bottle of grape wine" the waitor nodded and scurried away and brought a bottle. She put her money that she had to pay on the table and left, I got up and followed her out.
"So we heading home?"
"Yeah, I'm going to watch a movie" we both walked to her den and plonked down onto the seat while she picked out a movie
"Uhh this one I know it's not a movie but I love it" she held a cartoon
"Code lyoko? I freaking love it lets watch it" she put the dvd in and plonked next to me and the dvd started. Cara fell asleep halfway through season 3 so I kept watching. After the dvd had finished, I got up and turned off the cd player and tv and walked back to Cara. I picked her up and carried her and put her in the bed. I laid down next to her and fell asleep.
I got a phone call in the middle of the night
"Uhh hi" I mumbled
"You got suspended didn't you?"
"Yeaahhh why?"
"Thought so" the person hung up and I fell back asleep next to Cara
What does other me want? Were the last thoughts I had before falling asleep.
