Chapter 17. "The Arena"

 The guests were at the arena waiting for the rules or the instructions. The Queen and King were walking to their thrones and they sat down. Between them was a piece of the gem. Not just one, but two pieces. They were happy that they saw two piece that they will receive, but they realized that two of them will have to die in the challenge to receive them. The Queen stood up and told them how they will succeed or fail. The Queen said "You will go up against one minion at a time. If you hit the minion, you get to kill it. If the minion hits you five times, you are going to die. Your guests will have a chance to save you. If you get hit, you run to your partner and tell them to come down to the arena to heal you. If they heal you, you get that life back. If they fail, you lose that life and you continue on. Your partner will be the one to give each of you a weapon that you want to use. Chose wisely." The Queen sat down and The King rang the bell and then that was the start.  Colleen told Matt to give her a sword. Matt then gave her a sword and Colleen started walking to the minion. The minion started rushing to Colleen and the minion hit her. Colleen rushed pack to her partner and Matt Healed her. Andrea R asked to have a bow and Manny gave it to her. The minion started rushing her now. Andrea pulled the bow back and didn't hit the minion. The minion rushed to her again and hit her. She rushed back to her partner and he didn't heal her. Nikita came out with her sword and she killed the minion. The minion fell to the ground and then he disappeared. The Queen stood back up and said, "Every minion you kill we add one more to your fight. So, if you kill the round with one, the next round will have two". The Queen sat back down and continued to watch the fight.  Colleen came back out and rushed the minions and she killed one and she got hit by the other one. She rushed back to Matt and he did not heal her. The King stood up now and said, "Now, all three of you will fight at once. Each of you will fight two. Good luck, and hopefully you get hit". The king sat back down and stared at their minions. They all rushed each of their set of minions and they all got hit twice. They ran to their partners and none of them healed them in time. They all ran out again and Colleen and Andrea R got hit once and Nikita got hit twice. They ran to their partners and they didn't get healed. They all ran out again to fight the minions and Colleen got hit twice, Andrea R got hit once, and Nikita got hit twice as well. They ran to their partners and Colleen got healed both times, Andrea R didn't get healed, and Nikita didn't get healed any times. Nikita then falls to the ground and dies. They guests didn't realize it because they were focusing on the challenge. Colleen and Andrea R ran to their minions to kill and Colleen got hit twice and Andrea R killed both of them. Colleen ran to her partner and she didn't get healed any times. Colleen then fell to the ground and died. Andrea R looks behind her and she sees the bodies of Nikita and Colleen, She burst in tears and looks at all the partners and then back at the Queen and King. The Queen and King grabbed the pieces and jumped into the arena. They gave Andrea R the pieces of the gem and the guests grabbed Nikita's and Colleen's body to bury them. They went back to the other guests and the King ran away and the Queen flew away.
