Ava's POV:
Today's the day that Ruel comes home.
He still hasn't given up on texting me. In fact, I received one a couple minutes ago, telling me he just got off the plane.
I haven't answered.
But i'm thinking about it.Alex is right. I need to tell him straight up to stop texting me.
But you know you don't want him to give up.
No Ava, no. You need to get over him. He cheated.
It was just a kiss, it's not like he slept with her.
I roll my eyes at the argument going on in my head.
I think all the ice cream i've been eating is finally getting to me. I'm going crazy.
"For fuck sake." I hear Alex curse from outside my door, before it's pushed open. "Please Ava, i'm begging you. Talk to the poor guy." He pleads. "He won't stop texting me."
I crack a smile. "Sounds like a you problem."
He glares. "I'll tell mom and dad about that one time you skipped class."
Now it's my turn to glare. "You wouldn't."
Alex smirks. "But I would."
I sigh. "Okay fine, i'll text him."
"Right now."
I just roll my eyes and tell him to leave.
I take a deep breath and click on the messages app, going straight to his contact.
What do I even say?
I type out a response and hover my finger over the send button.
Just do it Ava, tell him you're done with him for good. But I don't want to be done with him.
I quickly shake my head and delete the previous message, typing out a new one. Before I can stop myself, I hit send.
