1. Aaden (pt.2)

*Rebecca's POV*

Rebecca: guys, it's 3 o'clock already. I think we should go now.

Everybody stand up and get ready as i signal Aadi out for a "little" chat. I saw in his eyes the same thing i saw in Jaiden's. I know for sure.

Aadi: yes?
Rebecca: can we talk in private?
Aadi: sure. I'm not in a rush now.

I signal Aadi to follow me as Jaiden runs up to James, whisper something that makes him staggered and pulls Jaiden out a bit.

Rebecca: i noticed you pay attention a little bit "more than usual" on a "specific member" of the Squad. What do you think of Jaiden?

*Aadi's POV*

That question caught me off guard. I immediately lightly blush as i chock on my words

Aadi: um, .. ee, ... i ... i think she is cool.
Rebecca: cmon. Im a mind reader. That is a trick question.
Aadi: um, ... i ... *whisper* love Jaiden
Rebecca: do you truly love her? Because of her herself?
Aadi: i don't know. It's only my dumb feelings after all. I will get over it.
Rebecca: no you won't. I am speaking from experience. You will not get through your feelings. Noe, what does a person do when that person fell in love with someone?
Aadi: ... hide it?
Rebecca: no. That person confess. I know this feeling is mutual, even though you only met her twice.
Jaiden: how did you know?
Rebecca: i was at Vidcon too you know? I saw Jaiden paid a "little more" attention on you. I knew my best friend.
Aadi: and what do you mean the feeling is mutual?
Rebecca: i don't wanna explain anymore. Just, ...
*points at James confronting Jaiden*
Rebecca: the best advisor in town. Jaiden is talking to James about her feelings for you. I don't need to read their mind to know. She almost spilled the beans in the conversation about James.
Aadi: ... but ...
Rebecca: no more but. Look! She is coming towards you. Just, keep your heads up, walk straight, confidently, and confess. Easy.
Aadi: no it's not...
Jaiden: hey, are you guys talking? I hope i'm not interrupting anything
Rebecca: oh he was just asking about my channel. Here *push Aadi towards Jaiden*
Aadi: um, ... i like you.
Jaiden: um,
Rebecca: ok. I take that back. This is awkward. James, help!
James: yeah, um. Let me put it this way: Jaiden heard thunderclap every time she met you. And, i "discuss" with her emotionally and decided this was love. Also, it appears that Rebecca saw that in you too, so...
Rebecca: Jaiden, would you mind dating someone you barely know? Again?
Jaiden: um, ... i guess my inner self said so. I just have to follow it.

(After writing this, i felt like a weirdo turning love and relationship into a game. You just have to play it. Im sorry i have zero experience when it comes to love. Nobody got up to my standard except my imaginary friend)

Aadi: so, what time do you want to meet?
Jaiden: maybe next Saturday, 10 o'clock. At this Starbuck.
Aadi: ok sure. Um, ... bye?
Jaiden: bye!

And like that, i just leave. Luckily, Halfad is not doing anything in the afternoon so he just follows me around. We talk for a bit before returning to my apartment.

Aadi: um, ...
Halfad: you are still wondering what happened this afternoon?
Aadi: yeah. I do. Indeed. I want to talk about it. What if the date goes horribly wrong? What if i panic and react differently? What if...
Halfad: shhh stop. Leave the questioning and worrying to me. Sit down, have a glass of water, and think. Imagine you met Jaiden in a little accident. Imagine she is around your age. Imagine she is just a casual person, siting in front of you, having a cup of vanilla latte.

After Halfad said, i feel like i am seeing that. Everything feels real. She is sitting right in front of me, laughing at my little pathetic joke.

I wake back up to reality. Halfad is sitting right in front of me. We are at my house. It is getting dark outside. He looks pretty focus and serious as he holds his hand towards me like he is casting a spell.
