OUTLINE
"Franklin Lacroix was a proud man and a second Lieutenant of the Green Berets. He had many accomplishments in his life and It is with great regret that I say with his greatness he paid the greatest price, his life. He leaves behind his fiance and home in San Francisco. Franklin Lacroix will be missed dearly." Frank's Eulogy as read by Ramon Chavez
Betrayed by his best friend and fellow Green Beret, Ramon Chavez, Second Lieutenant Franklin Lacroix stumbled into well known Haitian drug dealer Armound Soulie's trap. Trapped and tied up Frank was easy pray as Armound sicked his closest confident and Voodoo Bokor Adelaide Kikongo on him. Turning him into a zombi and forcing him to do her bidding they return to America settle one of Adelaide's old scores. Her face-turning sister Adele, who decided to move to Louisiana to practice her trade in a Voodoo Temple. Stumbling through the bayou Frank is attacked by gators and swamp folk before finally finding the Temple. Upon confronting Adele she lifts the curse her sister laid on the zombi and frees him from his daze. She then tells him that he can never again be Franklin Lacroix that he would forever remain “Frank Zombo”.
Adele then promises Frank to help exact revenge on her sister. Unbeknownst to Frank Adele will only gain more power over Frank if her sister is killed. After Frank executes Adelaide he continues his rampage murdering Solie's cohorts and finally finding his ex-best friend Ramon. It is at the development that Frank finds out that he isn't of his own will and is really under the control of Adele who he cannot find the will power to kill. During a sequence he will be temporarily unbound and escape her control where he seeks refuge in adesolate landfill/scrapyard. Where he is befriended by the owners young daughter , she cuts the strings binding his mouth to feed him in which fully breaks his curse. That begins his new hunt for Adele but, before he can reach her he becomes trapped by Soulie once again. When Soulie realizes he is a zombie and it isnt a myth he uses it to exploit Frank's strength and sells him to his French client who has an illustrious career as an underground fighting manager. Only this fighting is different. The contestants are locked down in a quarentined buliding where they must fight there way to the exit....a helicopter on the roof.
