I opened my eyes and saw Cole watching something on his laptop. Griffin was sitting in the corner on his phone.
I felt a little out of place without my device in my hand.
I sat up and stood with Griffin, "Good morning," I whispered to him.
He just smiled his pearly whites and stared cointinuesly at his phone.
"God, you guys are always on your phone. I came up here to spend quiality time with you." I laughed, catching a glimpse of Cole, laying in the bed.
He shut his laptop and looked at the clock, "You guys should get to school. You only have an hour before you're late," He stated, giving me the 'go now' look.
I followed his orders and me and Griffin headed to the car. I got inside it and started driving to school.
Once we arrived, I noticed that his friends were staring us down like we were batshit crazy.
"They're looking." I whispered, trying to make it not obvious.
"They can look, but they can't touch you." He smiles against my ear.
"You can't protect me from everything," I stated, looking into his eyes.
He stopped us in our tracks and held my hips, making my body press against his chest.
"I can sure as hell try." His voice was serious and I knew how much I meant to him.
"Ew!!! Griffin and Bekah are dating?!!!" I heard Lynn yell from the other end of the parking lot. People started laughing and staring at us.
"I think it's cute." Charley said from the side of the parking lot that we were at.
I giggled and blushed before we walked into the school.

Griffins hands drifted from my thighs up to my hips. His grip was tight as we walked through Wal-Mart. I insisted on having Cheerios.
I held the box in my hand and suddenly I saw him.
My father.
