After that weird boy appearing on my tv screen, nothing has happened. When I turned the tv on, it was on Chanel 4 news. It's been a couple of days and so far everything has been pretty normal, but I don't want to jinx anything.
There's a knock on my door and I walk over and look through the peep hole. I see my friend Calum holding a white box. When I open the door he rushes in and sets the box down on my kitchen counter.
"What the hell is that?" I point to the rectangle box. "Doughnuts. I brought some over from the new bakery down the street. They're actually really good." He opens the lid to reveal a dozen colorfully glazed doughnuts.
"Those look so delicious." I gasp and pick up one with rainbow sprinkles. I stuff the dessert into my mouth and moan at the wonderful taste.
"Let me have a bite."
I shake my head, "There's eleven more, Cal. Get your own." Calum lifts an eyebrow at me. "I didn't say anything."
After finishing my doughnut, I look over to Calum. "I'm pretty damn sure I heard you say you wanted a bite of my doughnut." Calum shakes his head and I shrug, grabbing another doughnut.
"I want that one."
"Um, ok there's another one just like it in the box, Calum." I roll my eyes. "What the hell are you talking about? I didn't say anything."
"But you just- you know what, never mind." I sigh, dropping the subject. Today is just a really weird day.
