I was going to have a heart attack.

I mean, this is what heart attack a feel like, right? Like your heart was going to come out of your chest.
And my right arm was hurting too. Or is it the left arm? Well, their both hurting now thanks to them gripping each other so tightly.

Just... take deep breaths. That's it Hade, now calm down. I released a shakey breath and adjusted my tie.
Did I look to formal? Did I look stupid? What if I said- No! No negative thoughts.

Ok, time for a major prep talk.
I faced the mirror. "You have this." I felt really stupid "You the man!" even though I'm alone, my face still heats up at my dorkiness.

I look at myself one last time before turning away. I try to walk as slow as possible, but my wolf disagrees as he pulls me strongly towards the door.

As I open it I see my beautiful goddess in mid knock.

"Oh, Hade! I was just... going to.. um," she stammers.

"You look beautiful." and she truly did.

Her long deep red hair was pulled back in a Twisty thing that was perfectly done, how did girls do that? Her hourglass figure was dressed in a dark blue skater dress with a white belt.

Flawless.

Her cheeks burned red. "Well umm lets go then." I tried to stay cool as I took her hand.

I lied. It was now my cheeks that were on fire.

*********

" And then he fell in the water!" I choked out.

The date so far was going great. I was kinda embarrassed at first at how she was the one to take me out, but pretty soon we were both laughing and having a great time.

I watched Artemis through the tears. Her face was red from laughing at my stupid memory.

"So, he, he just tripped right then?" She gasped.

"Yep and right in front of his mom and girlfriend too!"

"No!"

"Yep right in front."

I loved this side of Artemis. Well I haven't really seen a lot of her. there's been the playful side, the business side, and... the alpha side. When she yelled at that one Were, it honestly scared me a bit.

I shouldn't be thinking about that right now I remind myself, but it's too late. Artemis sees the change of my mood.

"What's wrong?" She asks.

I put on a smile to reassure her. "I'm fine."

I raise my hand to the waiter. "Check please."

**********
Hand in hand, Artemis and I walked down the busy sidewalk.

Our hands were made for each other, we fit perfectly.

We stopped by a fountain and sat.

"Hade, this has been... wonderful." she says. "but, I want us to get to know each other a little more."

"Umm ok. Tell me...your favorite color? I don't know, I'm not really the best at 'getting to know each other' " I say. Really, favorite color hade? Way to be original.

She giggles. "My favorite color is green. Hunter green."

Green? It suits her.

"Now my turn," she starts. "What is your favorite child hood memory?" Oh boy.

"Hmm, my favorite childhood..Oh, I know! When I was 8, I believe, I found two dollars on the side of the road. Now, keep in mind two dollars is a lot for an 8 year old boy. You could do anything with it! So I decided to buy my favorite ice cream from the shop near the park. After, I climbed up this huge tree and just... watched the world while eating ice cream." I smiled at the faint memory. "Pretty stupid, right?"

Artemis shook her head and smiled. "No. I don't think that's stupid at all."

She stood up and put a hand out.

"Come one, let me take you some where."

And I took her hand. Her perfect hand.
