Creek's fur brushes through the undergrowth, her tail wagging aggressively. Wolf scent filled her nose...perfect, she thought. The wolf was only a few tree lengths ahead. She remembered the bobcat she saw climbing a tree to pounce on their prey. That could work, she thought to herself as she placed her paw on the nearest tree. This is gonna be a challenge...

She scaled the tree as fast and silently as she could, it didn't work. She heard the wold take off, dang it, she thought. Creek jumped down and looked around, the wolf went left. Let's try a different approach...She jumped down into a hunter couch: something she also learned from watching the bobcats.

She saw the figure of the wolf in the undergrowth, the birds were singing a warning above. Its now or never.....she pounced on the unexpected wolf pup. "AHHH!" the black wolf cried, "HAHA! I got you!" Creek said. "Its tag! not jumpscare!" The wolf said, "But you are so easy to scare, Shard! It's hard to resist!" Creek said standing up. "Fine....but we should be heading home soon I think it's about to rain... " Shard said looking up, Creek did the same...that's a really dark storm cloud she thought.
