Brooke's POV

I remember how we met like if it was yesterday.

*Flashback*

The rain had started drizzling. I shivered to the cold weather. I put my hands in my pocket of my jacket. I was waiting on the sidewalk for a taxi to show up and instead there was a boy that stopped the car in front of me.

"Hey, what are you doing alone in the rain?"

"Waiting for a taxi.."

"Get in." The boy smiled and opened the door for me.

"Um.. Okay." I said getting in. I closed the door and he drove off.

"I'm Calum by the way." He said holding out his hand for me to shake. I shook his hand and smiled.

"I'm Brooke."

"Take off your jacket, your soaking wet." I took off my jacket and gave it to Calum. He carelessly threw it in the back seat causing me to make me laugh.

"So tell me, what do you do?"

"What do you mean?"

"Like your interests, hobbies, job maybe?"

"Oh, well Calum, I like to sing, dance, I also play guitar and bass a little."

"Well Brooke, sounds like you have many cool interests. Maybe you'd like to come to one of my bands gigs." He said handing me a flyer with the bands' name and a picture of him and his bandmates.

"Cool! I'll be there!"

"Great!" He replied with.

"Um Calum?"

"Yeah?"

"Could you tell me where your driving? I haven't told you where I live."

"Oh, right." We both laughed and I told Calum the directions to my house. We got to my house and we exchanged numbers. The rain had stopped and the neighborhood was lonely. I walked out of the car and looked at Calum.

"I'll see you tonight?"

"Yeah. Bye!" I said waving off at Calum and he waved back with a smile, driving away. I went inside and went straight to my room, figuring out to wear.

***

The whole time Calum was looking at me and his bandmates were noticing. At the end of the gif, I was about to leave when I heard Calum's voice.

"Wait! Brooke!" He spoke over the microphone.

I stopped, turning around to Calum who was getting off the stage and was running towards me. "You forgot your jacket." He handed me my jacket. He had washed it and I could tell because it smelled good.

"We should hang out sometime?"

"Yeah, I'd love that!" I said giving Calum a hug. I put my arms around his neck and his arms snaked around my waist. I let go and smiled.

"Bye. I'll text you." I tell him.

"Okay, bye."

*End of flashback*

I had finished telling Calum how we met and he had a small smile on his face.

"Do you have more questions?" I asked him. He was quiet and I feel like he was finding it all awkward.
