Your P.O.V.:

"It's gotta be here somewhere." I huffed as I dropped the box on top of the other. "Where in the world did I leave it- Huh? Ah! There you are!" I reached over and grabbed the box with a sticker that read: Childhood Memories.

I carried it inside and placed it on the kitchen table before I searched for a knife. When I found it, I carefully opened it and stared at the stack of folders, sketchbooks, and tiny items. Thankfully it wasn't disorganized and I was able to find it quickly. I opened the old sketch pad and smiled as old memories came back to me.

"It's been a while." my finger traced the outline of the drawing. "Guess I'll take these." and so I close it and slip the pad in my bag before getting ready to go to work.

"What are you thinking about?" Jimin interrupted my thoughts as I chewed on a muffin.

"Huh? Ah, I just..I was thinking about a friend I made not too long ago."

"Oh really?" he chewed on a cheese stick "Is it a student?"

"Yeah, she's a sweet girl named Nari." I smiled at the thought of her.

He hummed as he tapped his chin with his finger. "Nari..Nari..Oh! A shy little girl?"

"Yeah" I nodded.

"Ah~ Yeah, I have her for both of my classes. At first I thought she was in the wrong class since she's smaller than her peers. Not to mention she's so shy around everyone."

My eyes widened and I quickly leaned forward. "You didn't put her on the spot, did you??"

"Of course I didn't. I doubled checked the role sheet with Ms.Brooks to make sure everyone was there."

"Ah, okay.." I sighed, relieved.

"Why? Is something the matter?"

"Uh, no. It's just..I wouldn't want her to feel out of place. Especially since Nari's already shy, it would only seclude her mentally."

He nodded in understanding, "No worries, I try my best to make everyone feel comfortable." he smiled. "So, is that why you decided to be friends with her?"

"..At first it was just to get her to feel comfortable around me, but..like you said, she's so shy around everyone. I'm planning on helping her with that, so for the meantime, I guess I'll be her friend until she becomes more comfortable with everyone else." I happily took a bite of my muffin.

"Look at you, already helping kids out," he smiled smugly, "and here I thought you didn't want to be the counselor."

"It's not that..I care for the well being of the students here, but I just..haven't really dealt with kids directly with anything personal in a long time. I've met shy students before, but Nari's..a different case. She's so sweet but closed in and I just want to help her break out of her cocoon."

"Be careful though." he took another bite of his cheese stick, "Don't get too personal with her. Remember, you are her teacher. Eventually she'll figure out that your friendship isn't like the others."

"I know. I just want her to feel like she has someone to trust- that'll be there for her. She's so introverted that I get kind of worried..but every time I get the chance to make her smile..it just makes me..happy. I don't know how else to put it."

"I get you Y/N. Trust me, I do. For me there's no problem with what you're doing, just keep it real with her. Don't mistakenly feed into her closed habits."

"Why thank you for your advice Mr.Park." I chuckled, "Are you sure you don't want to be the counselor?"

"I wouldn't mind, but music and working out is more my kind of thing. Besides, I don't have the background or degree for that, so you'll just have to suck it up."
