Chapter 5: The Surprise

I woke up. I reached my phone to looked at the time while Elise wrapped into my body, it's 7 am, earliest time I've waken up this week. I have a lot of missed calls, good thing I put my phone on silents mode before going to the opera. I tried to make a breakfast without waking her up. The looked of disappointment when I looked at the fridge, there's a carton of milk but it's expired at least a week ago based on the smell, and three bottle of beers. I call Ramon to buy some decent grocery, then I sent the apartment address. I showered to an uncleaned bathtub and borrow a towel, all the towels in the bathroom are damped but I don't have a choice but to use it. I went to her closet and it's a mess, I have to sort what's clean and what's not. Luckily, I found some old clothes that I can borrow, an XL size rock t-shirt and a clean shorts. I can smell that it's a man's shirt because of a strong perfume that even a branded detergent can't cover, I bet it's one of her boyfriends' shirt.

A few minutes later a knocked came from the door and open. A bouquet of flower displayed to my face and the person behind it says "Happy Birthday". It's not just one person behind that door, there's four of them. "Is Lily in there? We're her friends" he said. "Oh ahh come in?" I got caught by surprise. They went in and introduced themselves "I'm Steve, that is Ally, Denver, and Sofie Anne. And you are?" they are waiting for my answer, curious and excited, before I answer his question, I guess some of them knew me. "I don't believe it. It's you isn't it? You're Luis Vincents' sister from the university" Sofie Anne's shouted. "Oh yeah, the famous Law student, Lily didn't mention that she knew someone famous" Denver's second demotion. "How did you guys meet? I mean how did Lily meet someone famous like yourself?" Steve asked then the door knocked. "Sorry I should get that" I excuse myself. This time it's Ramon with a bag of groceries. I grab the bag and shout the door. "I'll just make some breakfast" I went straight to the kitchen. "I'll help" Elise woke up by the loud voices of her friends. I put the bag down and whispers "You didn't mention your birthday" "You never asked" she replied with a peachy smile. "Don't be cocky" teased her with a kiss, she's shocked for my unexpected action, specially with her friends on the other side of the room. I just want her to feel good and I don't want to think of last nights event.

It's her birthday and I have nothing to do so I want to spent a whole day with her. This is the most time I spent with her and this is not uncomfortable as I imagine. I cooked some blueberry pancakes and she prepare her infamous omelette. We ate, even her omelettes are a little salty and burned, and chatted with her friends. "So Emma do you have any idea who is this guy that Lily's dating?" Sofie Anne asked curiously and everyone is eager to her my answer. "Yeah this Manuel guy. Lily's very secretive with him she didn't give us a hint but his name." Denver added. I looked at Lily's shamefully embarrass face then I said "No, I haven't but he seems like a jerk for not knowing Lil Eli's birthday" then gave a soft smile. Her friends head out and inform us to head to a bar tonight to celebrate with booze. "So Manuel?" I teased her. "Lil Eli? We're giving pet names now?" she grins as she cover my shoulder with her arms and I put mine on her waist.

I though plays in my head, the idea of dating her not just a friend but more. I used to think humans are just a live blood bag but not with this human, and as cliche as it was, she's different. I want to love her, I want to learn how to, I don't want to be the one who loves someone that I can't even have. I know how Elise felt towards me I can't reciprocate as much but I care enough to try. We already fucking and see each other naked what more to it than an emotional connection with her, I like her I think I can learn to take it to the next stage and this is a good experiment to my future work. 

"I want to spend my day with you. Can you be my dog for a day?" she ask seductively. I already planning a day with her so why not be a little more kinky. "My day is yours, my lady" I bowed down and kissed her hand to teased her. "What shall we do today?" she asked. "You tell me it's your day" "Ok will go shopping and you're paying" "as always" I whispered. We went to the mall and bought tons of new things she didn't need and she could buy a dry towel but I didn't say anything. We went to a restaurant to eat lunch, I excuse myself to a bathroom. I am getting hungry I need some blood. I hypnotize some women in the washroom and drink of there fluids, I didn't kill them I can control it after all this years of training. This is why I choose psychology to learn hypnosis and to get in the mind of people and in some way I can't get inside Elise mind, maybe that's why I kept her. Her strong mind attracts my complex brain sometimes I wonder if she can even hear my thoughts, and even if she did, she would probably run away. I can't blame her, after all I'm a fucked up guy even I will run away from myself. I went back at our table and gargle a wine to find the smell and taste of the blood. We continue to shop some more clothes and shoes, she's happy. I contact Ramon to collect all the shopping bag that we bought. As we wait for Ramon, she is hungry for some ice cream. We went to a ice cream stand at the mall and bought her a blueberry cheesecake flavor, it's her favorite, and I bought passion chocolate. I saw Ramon by the corner and she went to the rest room. Ramon handed me my request and he get the bag and leave.
