Life without you

The first date

It was now 8:30pm of the night that we went to the beach and mum and I were watching big brother. Dad and the twins and Kai were in bed and the lights over the dining table were the only ones on.

*ding ding*

I heard my phone go off so I sluggishly got up to see who it was.

'Kayden' my face then lit up like a torch.

I opened the message and it read

'Hey Zali I had a great day at the beach with you <3'-K

'Hey so did I!!!<3'-Z

'So I uh was wondering if you maybe wanted to go out with me on Friday night? :)'-K

'I would love to!!<3'-Z

'Ok awesome. Anyway I'll see you tomoro xx'-K

'Night xx'-Z

That night I flopped into bed all dreamily just picturing how perfect this date could be.

My alarm clock hadn't gone off for some odd reason so when I woke up it was 7:45am and school started at 8:30 so Liv would be picking me up at 8am. I scurried to the shower and washed my long locks.

I then got out and put on some khaki shorts and a plain white sort of oversized tShirt.

I finished the look with my low cut white converse. I applied a touch of foundation and mascara. I put my hair in a messyish bun and put on a navy bandanna.

There I was now ready for the day.

It had taken me 15 minutes to get ready so when I heard Liv beeping I headed down stairs, gave mum a kiss on the check and grabbed a pink lady Apple- they were my favourite!

I ran down the driveway and jumped in Livs car.

"I really need a car!" I started the conversation.

Liv just laughed.

"I have some exciting news to tell you!!" I said

"And what would that be?"she replied

" I'm going on a date!!!!!!"I screamed full of joy

" OMG when!?!?!"

"Friday"

"Oohlala"

We both laughed

We arrived at school and walked through the gates.

Liv and I headed to our lockers that were right beside each other. On the way we saw Mikaela and Sam sitting under a tree in deep lovey dovey conversation.

I looked through my bag to find a new message on my phone

'Kayden'

'Well aren't you looking beautiful today!'-K

'😊😘'-Z

I stared at the screen in a world of my own. I landed back on earth with Liv clapping in front of my face.

'Hello are you with me??' Said Liv

'Huh?'

'Never mind'

The bell run and we were now heading off to lunch.

I was sitting with Liv and our other friends but Mikaela was off with Sam somewhere.

*tweet* my phone shook the whole table as it also vibrates when I get a text.
