"Dear, wake up, it's school day today." A gentle voice roused him awake and Ivan groaned as he opened his eyes and sat. Eyes a bit blurry, he blinked several times to finally see things clearly. A middle aged woman is smiling to him as she settled a glass filled with warm milk on the bedside table.

He stretched his body, trying to feel less sleepy. The woman chuckled at him, "I told you not to play on your pc too late at night. Get down for breakfast, dear." Afterwards, Ivan was left alone.

Only then did his current situation kick in. He scanned his surroundings, baby blue walls, random action figures on his cabinet beside random books, a study table with a laptop on it... Where is he?! And is that a "meow" he's hearing?!

[Host, you fainted and was automatically transferred to the tutorial world.] A familiar male voice informed him, letting him calm down a bit.

Something furry jumped into lap had him panicking again, "Wah! Get off get off get off get off get o--- Oh it's a cat?" He inspected the being on his lap, slowly and carefully raising it with both hands and recognised it as a white feline. It was a bit small though, so it's probably a kitten?

[Let go of me before I scratch your eyes out. Your hold is very uncomfortable.] The kitten in his hands tried to get out of his grasp and "meow"-ed, irritated at the treatment.

Wait--- "System 456789?!" Ivan shouted and immediately placed the kitten on bed, staring at it like it was some alien.

[It's 4547713, host.] The feline licked its paws and completely ignored him as it continued in grooming.

"45-what? That's too many numbers, can I call you something else?" The host took months to memorize his own phone number. Memorizing numbers were one of his weaknesses.

The cat paused and laid down on the bed, eyes a bit confused. [I think I had a name before. Za--? Zayne? Zeb? I don't really remember. But I'm pretty sure it starts with Z or something.]

"Z? Hmmm... How about Zachariah then?" This name popped up in his mind and Ivan didn't know why but it feels somehow fitting for the system. And it's also familiar?

The system shook its feline head, [I think that's close but it's not that, host]

"Zack then? Also, please don't call me host. A nickname would be nice."

[Zack sounds really close. Can I call you Ivy then?]

'What's with the "-y"?' Ivan thought but nodded at the nickname nevertheless. The kitten then moved towards his lap again and purred quietly. The host reached to pet the feline's head. Both were relaxed on the bed for about ten minutes.

Ivan's hand that was petting the now-named-Zack system abruptly stopped, "So, what do I do now?"

In this world, the son of fate(or protagonist, as Zack called him) is Max Ellis, a rich pretty boy doted on by his parents. He befriended many people and the one who didn't want to be friends with him caught his eye. His interest turned into infatuation and he confessed his feelings during his 3rd year of highschool. He was rejected, brokenhearted and humiliated in front of the whole school. Max decided it was better to move into another city and start a new life.

Transferring to J Academy didn't do him much help, the new school, people, neighborhood and environment overwhelmed him and he wasn't able to adapt quickly. Max failed to make friends and the previously jolly Max became an introvert. The protagonist can no longer express his feelings as easy as before. Accidentally seeing a band's street performance while walking home after school, he had an urge to express his feelings through words. Two weeks later and he managed to compose his first song.
