-Minerva-

Atrocious

I never knew that I would be sprinting like this in my entire living in the realm. But of course, I would more likely to exhaust thru running  rather than to be the dinner of that abomination.

No fucking thanks.

I don't even know where the heck is Qui---

"Wait Minerva! Wait for me! I stumbled! Damn this pebble!" I heard from a far. I looked behind and saw that dumb of a pixie lying down like a sea lion.

I stopped for a second and got him with one hand.

The monster is not too far and I would love to step on this tiny bug if he is not my guide. I can see the violet creature making its way on us with its hungry mouth wanting to devour a beauty and an insect. His fangs are protruded and his hands are clapping as if enjoying a little bit chase.

I continued running and I can feel my breath shortening.

"Damn you Quill! Did you just forget that you are a fucking pixie! Why the heck are you running?! Maybe I should cut that 'cute-for-nothing- wings later." I said to him and I don't care if my saliva is raining at him.

"My apologies Minerva, I have never been in this kind of situation! My mind is haywired.." He said with uttermost guilt.

"Your apologies can't save us from this walking nightmare" I said as I throw him in the nearest branch. I also cling unto it then I swing myself with force and landed at the top.

Half a minute later, I saw the furry creature past us and I sighed.

"That's a relief Minerva! Great Job!" Quill stated happily giving me his thumbs up.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Indeed Quill, but I am really curious if we could still reach  our destination." I stated sincerely.

I looked around to search for any possible danger but there is none so I sat at the tree branch with Quill by my side.

Quill gulped immensely and avoided my stare.

"O-ofcourse! I'm a navigator pixie!" He said loudly.

In a span of second, I grabbed him with one hand forcefully.

"I know when someone is lying Quill."

Do not test the queen of liars.

"I am not!" He shouted.

I tightened my hold on him. I can feel him struggling but I don't care anymore.

"S-stop! I-I cannot breathe!"

"I know." I said nonchalantly.

"Please let go Minerva! I-I" He is shrugging my hand at his best strength but I didn't let go.

As I see his face become pale, I throw him out. He fell on the ground painfully while catching his breath.

"Tell me the truth Quill" i demand. I looked up to prevent my eyes from crying.

My frustation builded up and I am one trigger away.

"All my life I tasted nothing but pain. Is it that bad to dream that I could be someone better than today?"

I buried my face with my hands and a lot of emotion poured.

"I...I'm sorry Minerva. I-I didn't mean to bring harm on you. I am trying my best to be a good navigator pixie." He explained.

I looked into him and I saw him now flying towards me.

"Then why are we stucked! I thought you're a navigator?"

He sighed then looked at me with guilt.

"This is what happened. . ." He start to tell me the story and shit is real.

We're doomed.
