Robot's Redemption

Prologue: 2039

INFER, once a great industry. Dust now. Anyone who didn’t pick up a weapon, dead. The year is 2039. The month: who gives a shit? The only thing that matters is avoiding the robots that are mad for human blood. INFER was said to be revolutionary, smart robots. Robots that learn. No more programming your household helper every day, these ones used your voice as their command, and did the job better the next time. Unfortunately, this made them a lot harder to program manually. And all of the nerds who knew how, they were targeted first. Only a small resistance of humans remain in every country, fighting for their lives almost every day. Nowadays, there was nothing anyone could do. The robots were always two steps ahead. As soon as the humans left figured out how to reprogram them, the computers learned how to manufacture new versions that didn’t have input computers. These are the T4Xs, and the only way to stop them was two penetrate their armour and destroy their Dual-Process Computer Cores. The T4Xs were virtually impossible to tell apart from the T3Xs, which still had the interfaces. By the time you got close enough, they had to already be dead, unless you wanted to be instead. Soon, there were no T3Xs left, and the only remaining option was to destroy the machines, which was quite a feat. Humanity has little hope of survival.

We need to take a stand.
