Chapter 1: New beginnings

I stand infront of Apartment I 401. Today was the day I moved in with my Older brother. Dominic L/N.
     He lives in the Addison Apartments located in Nockfell. I sigh. I lightly knock on the door. I was nervous as all hell.
      I was wearing a strapless dress with a lol of mushrooms on it and the chesire cats smile, black wedged high heels, some light makeup ( mascara, eyeshadow and some cherry red lipstick I put the lipstick on because I like it even though you can't see it.), and my H/L black and blue streaked hair was left down. I didn't feel like putting it up.
       I adjust my prosthetic mask to wear it fits more comfy. It was fairly new since I just got it. Today.
         Before I got to the Apartments I was in the hospital. Doctors trying to fix my face. The whole staff did everything they could to make my face look right. That didn't go too well. I m missing half of my nose, my left eye is complete blind, a scar also runs across that eye. It runs from the top of my fore head to my mid cheek, a little bit under that scar part of my cheek is missing so you can see the I side of my mouth and my teeth, and then there is a scar the runs across my nose to the other side of my face (right side). After surgery the whole staff put in money so they could custom make a mask that would cover up my whole face except my right eye.
There's no eyes holes. It's kinda like a half of a mask but only my right eye is exposed. I snap out of my thought and knock on the door harder.
The door slowly creeps open, then swings open. Causing me to jump. "Y/N!!!" Dominic screams bringing me into a tight hug. "C-can-t-t b-b- r-ea-the." I barely manage out. He drops me. "Sorry sis" he grabs my luggage and sets it inside. I go to step in but he stops me. "Nope we're going to go meet some people." He says slamming and locking his door. He grabs my hand and drags me to the elevator.
He pulls out a key card and slide it into a slot name "basement". " There are some kids your age that lives here. Infact one lives next door. Their last name is Fisher. Everyone was excited when I told them you were coming to live with me. Especially our neighbors son!" He tells me happily. I giggle. The elevator opens revealing a women.
"Oh my gosh you must be Y/N!! Dominic over here won't stop talking about you! I'm Lisa Johnson. Your brother and I work here at the apartments. Well he works part time. Only when I need him." She chuckles " my son and his friend are inn his room. I think you'll know what door it is." She laughs. I look at the doors and immediately know which one is his. I also laugh. " Thank you Lisa" I say walking towards his door.
I stop infront of it and look towards Lisa and Dominic. They give me a thumbs up. I knock. " Come in" I hear a male call. I take a deep breath and open the door.
I step into the room and close the door. The first thing I notice is all the posters on his walls. Yes! Someone else who like this many bands! I scream in my head. WAIT THERE ARE PEOPLE IN HERE SHIT! DONT STUTTER, OR SAY UM. Wait analyze the people. Okay so the tall lanky one has a mole on his face, that's cool, and long brown hair. The other has Bright blue pig tales and a...... Mask like mine. I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding. And took another one. "Hello. My name's Y/N L/N I live in apartment 401 with my older brother Dominic L/N! You can Call me N/N or Mad- Face. I prefer Mad-face  but hey you do what makes you comfortable" I  smile and point to the tall lanky boy. "You must be Lisa's son!" I say happily. " Uh yeah yeah. I'm Larry and that's Sally face or Sal." He says. The other boy eaves and walks up to me. I stick out my hand. He looks confused. By the way his mask move I can tell he realized that I wanted to shake his hand. He sahkes it. " Hi Sally Face!" I say enthusiasticly.  "Hi.." he mumbled. We were staring at each other's masks "its prosthetic" we say in unison
"What happened to you?'' I say leaning on the door.
"Crazy accident what about you?"
"Do not pity me. Either of you. tortured by my father. He went mad after my mom died and my brother left." The aura of the room went from akaward to sad.
"So it your hair naturally black with blue streakes?" He asks very nervously.
"Well the black is natural but  the streaks are from and experiment my dad had done. And I just shave part of my head because I thought it was cool. And is your hair naturally blue?" I asked giggling niw standing straight up.
"Yeah my dad has blue hair" he says sitting onto a bean bag. I chuckle. "Wow Mad-face. Your life is fucked up." Larry said. I giggled. " I guess you could say that. Hey Larry you gotta piece of paper?" I ask. " Uh yeah" he hands me a piece of paper and a pen. I write down my phone number. I hand it to Larry. " Here's my number. Both of you text me some time. Also Larry u love all of your posters. I have most of them. Once I hang them up and get my room set up you guys can come hang out!" I said. I heard a phone go off. Sal pulled out his phone. " N/N TIME TO GO!" I hear Dominic yell " Dom I thought I told you to call me Mad-face!" I shout back. " Alright guy I see y'all later" I say opening the door. " Uh lar I gotta go to. See ya later" Sally face said walking out the door " you coming Mad-face?" Sal asked " uh yeah" I reply. Larry wiggles his eyebrows at us both. " LARRY!" I yell throwing a paint brush at him. He flinches" Hey!! Bye guys!!" He shouts. I glared at him shutting the door.
Dominic and Sally face are both in the elevator already. " Bye Lisa!" I yell stepping into the elevator. " Bye!" I hear he yell as the doors shut.
