"Evie please."
Mal held Evie close "They are here." Ben said. Mal nodded and kissed Evie's head "Please be ok." She said kissing her cheek "I just got you I don't wanna lose you already." She said. The paramedics came and took Evie away "You can go with her." He said, "No.I'm going to deal with her." Mal said looking at Uma. Ben nodded and left.
"Where am I?" Uma asked rubbing her head "By badass girlfriend kicked your ass." Mal said going to her "Oh yeah." She said annoyed "Well whatever." Uma said reaching for her sword. Mal kicked it away "Why?" She said giving Uma a death stare "Because I want you to hurt. You left us Mal. You turned your back on us." Uma said. Mal sighed "You hurt Evie she didn't do anything. She was following her mother's orders you know how her mother is. You have seen her scars." She paused "What her mother made her do." She said sadly "Yeah. I do but I want you to hurt." Uma said smiling "And trust me you will." Uma said. Mal punched her hard enough to make her pass out. Ben came in the room with guards to take Uma. He put his hand on Mal's shoulder "I heard what you said." He said. She looked at him confused "What?" She asked, "About Evie's mom." He said sighing "How bad were y'all treated on the isle?" He asked. She sighed "Bad. But her mom was worse. My mom was actually a better mom than Evie's. My mom sometimes would try and stop her. But she never tried hard so Evie did suffer. Sure we were all treated badly." She said looking down "What happened to her?" He asked. Mal sighed and tears formed in her eyes "Evie always had to be perfect. Perfect skin.Perfect hair perfect lips perfect eyes." She said "She couldn't be overweight. She never was, In fact, she was always underweight. Never where she was supposed to be. She had to walk perfectly and if she didn't she would her beat and left for days without food." Mal said sitting on the bed "This one time she yelled at her mother and she was locked in her room for two weeks without food. I snuck in and gave her some of course. She still has the nightmares from this one time." She stopped herself "never mind. Her mom was wicked. That's it." She said quickly "Wait What happened to her?" He asked standing up "I can't tell you." She said, "She was never the same." Mal said sadly "Sometimes I miss the old her. The one that wasn't afraid of jay and carols sometimes. They never did anything she's afraid of bigger guys I guess." Ben got a phone call. He stood up and left for a while. She walked around the room looking at the mess Uma and Evie had made "Mal." Ben said coming back inside "Yes Ben." She asked walking to him "We need to leave now."He said. Mal got worried he sounded serious. Really serious. They got into the limo and drove to the hospital. Mal ran up to the counter "Where's Evie?!" Mal asked. "Room 220," She said. Mal ran to the room. She saw Evie and sighed "Mal. They are gonna bring her here." Evie said tearing up "Who?" Mal asked "Mother. What if she brings me back. She's my mom she has the right." Evie said. She was shaking scared "Please don't let her take me Mal." She said. Her voice cracked "I won't Evie I promise. Mal said kissing her head "I don't wanna go back." She cried "When is she coming back?" She asked "In a bit." Evie said looking down "Evie what mess have you gotten yourself into this time you sorry excuse for a Girl!" Her mother yelled coming in the room in shackles
