Chapter 21: Remembering the past

Jack

I stared at an open space thinking about earlier. My tears are still not stopping to flow. I still couldn't believe it. No! I won't believe it! It's not that realistic.

"Jack? What are you doing here?" A voice said. I wiped my tears off and faced the person. Elsa. Why does it have to be her? Why? Is this some sort of punishment because I avoided her? Just tell me, tell me why?

"I-I was just bored so I went here." I said not looking at her eyes. I don't know why but this girl seems so fragile. And I'm afraid to break her. I know it's possible, and I know I might do it anytime even if I didn't mean to do it.

"Why are you crying?" She asked walking towards me. There are so many questions in my head that is bothering me now. And one of those is why does she always have to sew this side of me. The broken one.

"I'm not crying. Those are just sweat in my eyes." I said not looking at her. She was already a few inches away then she suddenly hugged me. This second time it felt like I was stabbed. I didn't hug back. I wanted to just back away but it would hurt her more. And I don't want that.

"Jack I know you're crying. You don't have to hide it." She said pulling away. I sighed and looked down.

"Sorry." I said. I wanna say sorry for everything I've done. But I'm too scared. For nothing.

"Don't say that. You did nothing wrong." Elsa said.

"Yes I did. I've done so many things to you yet you still help me." I said.

"That's what friends do. We are friends now, right?" Elsa tried to cheer me up. This girl is making it even harder. She's making me feel even worst about myself. I tried my best to smile.

"Yeah." I said still trying to hold that smile.

"Now tell me, Why is humpty dumpty sad?" She joked. I smiled and looked at her.

"Well it's about this girl, not just any girl but my best friend." I started. This is gonna be a long story.

-You know what to do Lexter! - Again I'm the one narrating this.

"Elise! Wait!" 10 Year old Jack said.

"What is it?" The girl answered.

"Do you have to go?" He asked. (A/n: you'll be fine Jack. XD)

"Don't worry. I'll be back. I promise." Elise said.

"Where will you go?" He asked again.

"Many places like Paris, London, Japan all over the world!" She said extending her arms as wide as she can.

"Aw. I wanna go there too. No fair!" Jack pouted while crossing his arms. (A/n: cute!) Elise giggled and pinched his cheeks.

"When I go back I'll tell mommy to let you come too. So we'll be together." Elise said enthusiastically and Jack's eyes seemed to glisten in happiness.

"Really?" Jack asked.

"Really really." Elise laughed.

"So when are you gonna come back?" Jack asked. Elise laughed.

"We haven't even went yet and your already asking when are we gonna come back? You're funny." She laughed.

"But seriously, when?" Jack asked.

"Mommy said when I turn 18 or 19 we'll come here to celebrate my birthday with you. Then we will for back to travelling around the world. But this time, you're with us!" She chatted.

"I can't wait for that day." Jack said.

"I wish time will go faster so we can be old enough to travel around the world, just the two of us." Jack dreamt.

"Yeah. Me too." Elise said smiling. Jack also smiled.

-Stop! We'll continue tomorrow! I ran out of popcorn. Lexter kill the switch! But not with a knife you dimwit! - back to Jack's POV

"Elise?" Elsa asked. I nodded while smiling. She smiled too.

"There's that smile." She pointed at my face. I laughed at her childish matter.

"So her name is what makes you happy?" Elsa asked. To be honest, no. It was her that was making me smile.

"Only half of it." I said.

"Half? Like half of her name?" She asked looking confused. I smirked, nice idea Elsa. I didn't tell her Elise's whole name didn't I? (A/n: Elise was panchitagarcia50's idea. I was the one that thought of the second name thingy. XD)

"Yup!" I smiled.

"Then what's her whole name?" She asked. I stick my tongue out and laughed.

"It's a secret!" I said. (A/n: I agree Jack! A total secret. :P)

"Not fair!" She said trying to chase me. I just sad kept on running while laughing.

A: yeah! Whipped cream. See! (Shows a bowl of whipped cream.)

L: oh. For once I thought you meant a whip that you use to whack people with.

A: I do have one of those.

L: what?! Wait till I tell your mom about this.

A: I have an imaginary one! Let me finish first!

L: oh.

A: well I have to go!
