Asia Newman
Born and raised in Houston, Texas. Asia Newman was your typical " Woke " black girl. She was very self conscious of how she and other people viewed herself. Despite her parents upbringing, she was given everything she needed in life to succeed. An Aspiring singer, Asia constantly critiqued herself and wanted to be the best she can be. Her world comes tumbling down when she must overcome the sudden passing of her parents. Dealing with the death of her parents, Asia not only lost the love for singing, but comes face to face with drugs and hanging around the wrong crowd.
Asia must rediscover her love for singing and find her truth.
In while doing she meets Derrick Jones.
