9th grade

It all started there, Jessica was telling me there was a party and I had to go. I got ready that night we got in the car and she told me to relax and have some fun, she told me I need to loosen up and get off the books for once. Since my grandma died I did school and that was all my focus was on. I needed someone in my life who cared is what I was told. Boys didn't interest me neither did girls. When we showed up to the party and I walked in. Boys looked at me left and right, one specific one came up to me.

"Hey my name is Alex, what's up with you lil mama?"
"My names Sierra nice to meet you Alex."
"Did you bring another person with you? "
"Nah I just brought my best friend Jessica why what's up?"
"What's a pretty thang like you doing single?"
"I ain't ever really looked for a man because I got classes to worry about and school is my priority"
"Oh a smart girl I see, you don't want no trouble huh babygirl?"
"Nah I don't, I got my head on right and I don't need some punk ass boy to mess it up for me"
"Alright lil mama I see you, hey well I'll leave you with my number holla at me later and let's kick it"

I never met a boy as fine as he was, I had a couple come up to me that night. I drank a few beers even though I never drink. Jessica encouraged it. I started drinking and next thing I know I headed home with Jessica. I woke up with a killer headache and she asked if I got laid. Losing my virginity was not on my mind. I didn't want to think about that because I knew too many people that were pregnant. Jessica left and I finished 9th grade pretty well. Didn't go to a party ever since that one party... until one night in 10th.
