Tyrone's POV
Nothing much happened in the early classes today, just some beginning lectures and some useless stuff about the school's theme for this year. I was bored for most of the time because it was repetitive as hell, they did the same thing last year during the first day and not surprisingly, it was boring as well.
*School bell rings*
Everyone got up from their seat and proceeded to go to the cafeteria, I got up and got greeted by my friend Jerome again. "Hey Tyrone, do you want to go to our usual spot for lunch?" He asks me.
"Yeah sure, but I'll catch up with you, Kevin wants to talk to me about something." I reply to him apologetically.
"Oh, is that so? Sure, I'll see you later." He waves at me and goes to our usual spot during lunch.
Kevin approaches me and as I see him we nod to each other signaling me that I should follow him somewhere.
*At the school's yard*
Kevin led me here to the school yard to talk, usually there would be a ton of people here as well but surprisingly there's not much happening here. As I finish my thoughts I ask Kevin:
"So, what did you want to talk about?"
No response from Kevin.
"Hey, is everything alright Kevin?" I ask him worriedly as I look at him"
Still no response from Kevin.
"I'll ask one last time; Kevin if you're not saying anything stop wasting my ti-. "
"Wait!........Okay....... Tyrone... I think I want to break up with Bri." He finally answers my question while looking at me sternly.
I stand there like normal and Kevin looks at me weirdly. He asks me: "Uhh, aren't you going to say anything?"
"Are you even done speaking though? You only told me you wanted to break up with her, you didn't tell me the reason why." I point out nonchalantly as I stare at him
"Well no, but.... Let me ask you... When you and Bri talk about me and her relationship what does she usually say?" He asks me curiously as he crosses his arms"
I give him an honest reply and say: "She acts bubbly and giddy because apparently she thinks your relationship is going perfect."
"Well that's the thing Tyrone... We don't have a healthy relationship." He tells me as I go curious as to why.
"Elaborate." I say simply.
"Okay.... It started during our date last summer."
(Flashback)
Kevin's POV
Finally, after all that busy shit yesterday I finally have the time to go on a date with Bri. We decided to meet up at a restaurant, as I arrived there I waited outside for her before we got in. A few seconds later I see her jogging towards me.
"Sorry I'm a little late! Have you been waiting long?" She asks me as she stops in front of me panting a little.
"No not really, I just got here honestly." I answer her. "So, let's go inside?" I ask her.
"Okay, let's go" She says as she goes inside with me following her.
As we order our food I couldn't help but notice a bit of tension between me and her, I was about to ask her about it, but she beats me to it.
