"Good morning." Stefani smiled contently as she felt Bradley's familiar fingers playing with her hair. It's only been two weeks since they got their relationship back on track, but wow did it feel like a never-ending heaven.

"Morning beautiful." He kissed her cheek. Pulling her in closer for a snuggle. This had become his favourite part of the day. She's been spending almost every night in his place, and the nights where she's not there didn't feel right anymore. "So today I have Ella for the day, you know Laura and Brian are away for the night, so I have her until my mom takes her later. Do you want to hang out with us?"

She smiled. She loved spending time with him and Ella. She knew it was so soon, but whenever she did, she couldn't help but notice how nice it felt to be so domesticated with him. She'd be lying if she said she didn't imagine having kids of their own day. She knew it was so early on though, just some food for thought. "Yeah of course, I'd love to. That kid loves me." She nodded proudly.

"She really does. I swear you're all she talks about. She told me you're the favourite part of when she sees me. You're taking my lime light." He joked. As she laughed, throwing her head down on to his chest.

"The kid has great taste in people." She teased, making him roll his eyes. "Sometimes I have to inflate that big head of yours."

"Big head?" He smirked.

"Yeah.. mister big, handsome, sexy fireman. I have to make sure I keep you grounded." She loved messing around with him like that, purely because he got all shy and defensive. Because despite that all being very true, he really didn't that of himself at all.

"Sometimes I hate you."

"That's a lie." She smirked. Planting a soft kiss on his lips. As he of course kissed back in response. "See.. definitely don't hate me."

He just stared up at her face. Said nothing. His hand, still on the side of her face. Taking in, how her blonde curls fell around her face, her bare shoulders, her makeup-less face. She tilted her head, looking more deeply at him. "What?" She laughed. It was during the small moments like this. Even just her trying to annoy him that made him feel even deeper for her. That sometimes he just looked at her in disbelief. "What?" She repeated, lightly tapping his chest. He grabbed her face lightly, kissing her again. Softly, and slowly. Moving her hair, behind her ears. Smiling into the meaningful kiss. She shifted slightly getting better hold over his lips. Sometimes words weren't needed.

"I love you." She whispered, as she pulled away. Her bottom lip disappearing behind her teeth. Her hand tracing his cheek, and lips now.

"I love you so much." Unable to believe that this woman was the one he gets to wake up to every morning.

After eventually gathering up enough will power to get out of bed, they enjoyed some pancakes and waffles for breakfast. Before heading off to collect Ella for the day.

"Hi teacher." Ella squealed hopping in to the back of the car.

"How many times do I have to tell you, you can call me Stef." She laughed, hugging the little girl back as she stood up wrapping her arms around her.

"I know." She giggled.

"So what do you want to do today kid?" Bradley asked, looking at her through the small mirror.

"What are my options?"

Stefani laughed. This little girl was really something else. She was one of the those kids that are hilariously funny without even realising.
