Giselle:
Oh Dear Jesus Christ, I was going to die. I just fell deeper and deeper, awaiting that thud.
"HELP!" I waved my hands, swimming in air. Knowing it wouldn't work, I just did it anyway.
"HELP ME!" I screamed again. No use. I gave up. I squeezed my eyes shut and just waited for my death.

All of a sudden, I landed on a medieval-like room. Oil lamps encircled the enormous room. There was a neat, petite bed in the corner and a huge chandelier hanging above me. I rubbed my head. I was dead! Was this heaven? Church pastors were to be proved wrong! Hah!
"She's nothing like her aunt." I heard a guard patrolling outside my room say. Never knew heaven had guards. I turned around and realized this was not heaven at all. There wasn't a single ventilation hole except for a door with metal bars. I was in... jail? What? I touched the pendant, the weight of it hurting my chest. As if it had an antidote, I immediately felt better, somehow. My door swung open.
"Lord Strahan wishes to see thee." a crow guard demanded. I froze, taking in the familiarity of her face; the one who pushed me down.
"No, I shan't move." I rebelled.
"Then be dragged." she replied. I shook my head and soon enough, my Converse was screeching on the bricks. How pleasant.

I was dumped on the floor like a dog. I looked around and I saw a beautiful girl with...
Wings.
Because this wasn't weird enough.
An obnoxious-looking man stomped to his throne and narrowed his beady eyes at me. I shuddered uncontrollably. There were at least 7 pale women, known as the Grey Ladies all floating around him, caressing his hair, then his cheeks.
"Huh! Nothing like Helen is she?" he spat at me. He started circling me, them pulled the neon pink ribbon from my hair. I bit his arm, then the guards kicked and beat me.
"This isn't the one!" he exclaimed, throwing the ribbon to the ground. Wait, I was getting abused, pushed off an edge and oh yeah, abducted for a ribbon?
"Send her back! Helen might be the foolish woman she is and come collect her dear, precious niece." he mocked, lifting my chin gently. I was kicked into my little cell. I covered my face and turned to my pendant.
"Kat..." I cried. I really needed her right now.

Katrina:
I gave my parents quick hugs and ran to the farm. Yes! Lola and Pepper jumped up and down, greeting me. Nana was in the chicken coop, feeding the chooks. As she saw me, she laughed and ran out to greet me. I hugged her really tight.
"Doesn't look like it's gonna rain." I sulked.
"Now don't you worry, Trina. Let me see a smile on that face, the rain comes whenever it wants to." she chuckled. I've always imagined Nana trying to argue with Mr Devin, my Chemistry teacher about rain coming whenever it wants to. He would lose by a million. I giggled slightly.
"That's my Trina." she smiled, obviously ignorant to what I was laughing about.
"Now go greet your old bastard." she said, walking away.
"I'm telling papa you're calling him names again!" I accused. Nana just waves her hand at me in dismissal.

"Papa!" I called, running to him. I hugged him, embracing the gross scent of cigars and hay.
"You've been smoking those nasty cigarettes again haven't you?" I pointed my index finger at him. He shoved five pounds into my pocket.
"Be a good girl and keep a secret from Nana." he whispered.
"You know those are bad for you, but okay." I laughed. Our goat, old bastard came charging at me, as it did with anything that dared to move. It just refused to die! It charges into any mobile object, missing them three quarter of the time. Just then, I whipped out my phone and to my surprise, Elle's face was wide on my home screen.
"Kat..." she sobbed.
