Jacob
Weeks have gone by slowly since it happened. Since she happened. Every night since then, I would stare at the blank canvas ceiling while lying on one lonely side of the bed. Enveloping myself in the blanket as the night continued, it was dark and emotionless. Shivering in pain, I held on to my heart as it was slowly pierced by what I thought was the love of my life.
But it all finally stopped. And for once I was back in the darkness, back in my own imaginary world.
I was asleep.

"JACOB!"
Mum's roars resonated around the house as I gradually opened my eyes.
My room was comfortable; I could fit a closet with some clothes, 2 desks, and a queen-size bed. One desk had a smooth wooden surface with exercise books tossed all over it and the other was just plain clear. On top was a bookshelf carrying a dozen of books and pens.
Turning to the left, a watch on the table next to my bed read 7:35 am.
"Oh, shit" I sighed, swiftly lifting myself off the bed and raced for the toilet.
The school's uniform was unbearable to wear - it composed of a pair of rough navy blue pants, a light blue shirt and a tie. It was smart yet messy, likely because students never tucked in their shirts properly.
Grabbing my bag, I sprinted down the stairs, almost tripping as my mum prepared breakfast.
As soon as I recollected my breath at the dining table...
BEEP BEEP!
"Fuck, Sara's here already?" I cursed silently.
I gulped the cup of coco hastily and dashed to the door.
"Bye, Mum! Bye, Dad!
