"Cmon Anderson! Wake up," shouted Coach Dirk, "You're not mentally here!"

It was last period, and I was in the sports hall wrestling. It was compulsory for everyone to sign up for PE (physical education) and I chose wrestling ... well not really, my dad did.

"Jeez man, she really got into you, the new girl," Winter exposed, "Let's talk about it tonight."

"Ah man sure, but seriously, I can't stop thinking about her," I explained, "The way she looks at me, makes my heart beat faster and the hairs on my hands seriously start going up like fucking hedgehogs."

"Bahahahaha, Jacob Jacob Jacob, PE is almost finished," Winter said playfully, "Just concentrate for now... coach is coming."

By the time, I could comprehend what he said, I was on the ground in a position where he controlled me. My chin was facing upwards, in a very uncomfortable position.

"Why do you guys always take so long on a Monday after the last period!" yelled Kristen as she stood with the others in the parking lot, "We waited for what like 30min."

"Relax sweety, we were showering," explained Winter, "Let's go to Mum's (Coffee shop)."

"Is it me or did I hear Winter say sweety," Jennifer said.

"Holy shit, what the hell is this shit," I laughed, "I got a name for you two love birds... Wisten."

"Bahahahahahahaha!" laughed everyone except the two embarrassed statues.

"GUYS! We'll talk about it later," explained Kristen, "Let's go to Mum's first."

This time Anne and Jennifer were on Sara's car and I followed the two lovers, Winter and Kristen. Kristen drove a Honda HRV, it was stunningly red, blinding my eyes as I walked towards it. It seemed like it was new, as the car was glossy, reflecting the sunlight glowing like it was Santa's car.

Mum's was just by the corner of my house.

As the rest of my friends who were in Sara's car getting off, we were walking to the entrance.

Mum's was crowded with students from Lakeside High, with students that were doing their homework, preparing for a test, playing games, and just pretty much being comfortable. The floor had a smooth textured surface allowing you to slide across to the counter where you would order your food. Each table by the side had a view of the viridescent land, which highschool teens would go to have picnics.

Seeing Teresa by the counter was a relief for all of us; mostly for Jennifer. Teresa knew us very well, up to the point she knew our usual orders: Nachos, Cheesy fries and 7 strawberry smoothies. She wore a white uniform, with black strips that would go from her shoulders to her legs. It was more like an apron I would say.

"The usual guys?" asked Teresa.

"Yeh, same old usual for us," chuckled Jennifer, "I guess I'm paying today."

"NO NO NO!" denied Teresa, "Our shop is becoming very successful, thanks to you lot always posting pics about Mum's, today It's on me."

"Wow Mrs Teresa!," Jennifer replied, "Thanks!"

"No problem kids, just go to a table," said Teresa.

It was days like this where I enjoyed and appreciated the presence of my friends. The bond we had was a chain that was unbreakable. We all shared something in common... something special.
