Early Life and Family
✧ Hangyul was born in Incheon, South Korea.
✧ He was abandoned at birth, but was adopted by his current family at the age of seven. His family consists of his mum, dad, and two older brothers who are 15 and 16 years older than him.
✧ When he was around six or seven years old, he got his hand caught in a door whilst playing with a friend and had to have surgery.
✧ He decided to become a singer to repay his family and friends' favours.
