I barely slept last night. Cathryn fell asleep besides me. It was upsetting to know what was coming. When she woke up I asked her if she wanted to make our relationship official just to have one in the end. She agreed and we kissed. We both got dressed and went on to have breakfast. I made eggs with bacon and toast. We went outside and sat on my pool deck. We decided on that deck to make today the best day ever. We went to walk in the park and went for a swim in the river that runs alongside our town. All the while a meteorite came falling to Earth. Today was the day the sky would fall, and I wasnt sad like I thought I'd be. I was with Cathryn and happy. When the final hour came. We layed in the grass. looking up. I smiled, she smiled, then we kissed. Today would be the day the sky fell, and we were happy.
