A Dance in the Night

Today is the day a ball will be held.  I am a teacher at the academy and teach the students here.  I was asked by Claude today to come to the ball and of course accepted this invitation.
As the evening fell, the ball began to slowly begin.  As I entered the huge hall, I saw many students talking and laughing together.  After a while, it slowly came to rest and was then immediately interrupted by music.  Edelgard and Dimitri emerged from the other students to begin the first dance of the ball with their dance partners.
I watched as they started to dance, noticing that Claude was not there.  I looked around and saw Claude walking in my direction.  Now he stood in front of me, bowed, took my hand and winked at me.  "Hey miss. Y / N, can I dance with you?"  he asked me with a smile.  "Of course I like to dance with you Claude."  I said to him.  He then pulled me to the dance floor where Edelgard and Dimitri danced.
He pulled me over to him and started to dance with me.  I looked up at him and our eyes met.  "You're really good at dancing Miss Y / N."  said Claude laughing to me.  I was ashamed when he said that and looked away from him.  When the first dance was over, the others started dancing too.

I went outside into the garden to feel the cool wind on my skin.  When I wanted to go back, I was hugged by none other than Claude.  When I turned to him, he took my hand in his and began to dance with me.  I looked at him and saw his eyes shine in the light of the moon.  He looked at me and smiled at me.  I was ashamed again and wanted to look away when I felt his hand against my chin.  He turned my head back in his direction to meet our eyes.  "This time, you will not take your eyes off me."  he said as he leaned forward and kissed me.  That was an unforgettable evening.
